“If you're looking for the perfect gift shop, this is it. They have a lot of items from Hilton Head, as well as South Carolina and plenty of gifty items...in every price range. They also do beautiful gift wrapping for free, which I certainly appreciated since I was traveling with the gifts to bring to friends. If you can't find something here, I doubt it is out there! Have been in their other store in the Pittsburgh area a number of times over the years, until they closed that one. Bought wedding and baby gifts there...that store was very lovely as well. We're originally from Pittsburgh....so that makes it even better!”

“I'm not sure why this store doesn't have any reviews yet. So here's the first. 10 out of 10 hands down. I drove to HH from Daniel Island looking for a flour sack kitchen towel. Simple easy purchase. While there, I noticed they also had "lat & long" pillows. Of course, unfortunately, they didn't have my town. I asked the woman if I could order one and have it shipped and her reply ABSOLUTLEY blew me away. "If you give me 15 mins, I can do it now for you". WHAT????? I was able to pick out my colors, my design, my size to complete my pillow. The women STOPPED what they were hand blocking and made me my very own hand picked custom color pillow. (I'm constantly changing decor so I went on the safe side neutral"). I cannot praise these ladies enough! Customer service above and beyond. . And I forgot to mention, the shop has the most incredible hand crafted low country gifts, perfect for the upcoming holiday season for host gifts, I forgot to take pictures of items because I was so excited about MINE. A definite must see!”

“I was in HHI this past weekend for a conference, and I shopped in Birdie James for the first time. BEST customer service on the island….and the two salespeople were SO friendly and SO much fun!!!! BEAUTIFUL boutique and I will always shop here when I am in town, simply because of the wonderful two salespeople!!!! I loved them both!!!!”

“I've been visiting Forsythe for the past four years and purchased several pieces of David Yurman that are hard to find elsewhere. Every time I've visited the store in the past, I was warmly welcomed and the salespeople went above and beyond. This year was a completely different experience. I visited the store and waited to be helped. One salesperson was sitting on the computer, two other salespeople were helping other customers check out. The owner's husband was working on unboxing items or wrapping items. Continue to wait and struck up a conversation with another customer waiting. We talked and a couple walked in. Immediately a salesperson comes out and begins helping them. Maybe they had an appointment? After ten minutes, another salesperson acknowledges me. She shows me a few pieces of jewelry. I was interested in one piece since the collection was being retired. I asked to place the item on hold. Normally, the salesperson will write down your name and contact info. I'm in the system so I know this is part of their process. This particular salesperson did none of that. I quickly realized she wasn't interested in making the sale or getting my info to hold the piece. Walked out and didn't return to make my purchase. So disappointed in this year's shopping experience. It's too bad they missed the mark this year because they usually are known to go above and beyond. Plus the owner always makes sure to stock a large inventory of hard to find Yurman pieces. I'll return but this time I'll make sure to make an appointment.”

“Andrew sized my Tiffany watch bracelet for me. It was unusual and 4 other jewelers did not know how to remove links from it. I was sent to Andrew by one of the other jewelers and told he can do anything! They have some beautiful pieces for sale as well :-)”

“I came here to buy shirts for my nephews (7 and 10) a few days ago. Though they did not have any children’s long sleeves available, the shirt selections were great. ??. I live on the Island and finding a quality souvenir store that is not OVERPRICED… is rare. This was great❤️ Theresa was an amazing help.. She knew much about the products, the area, and was very friendly which was refreshing❤️. Andrea was always willing to help and answer any questions I had as well and just as attentive☺️. The sizes were limited but I eventually found the right shirt. I purchased the shirts and shot glasses, and I received a Free Decal sticker ☺️❤️ Will be coming back here for the summer and will bring my family along. Loved it.?❤️”

“I went to an Art & Seafood festival in the area, and Spartina was one of the vendors set up, there store was on this particular street. I have bought from Spartina at an outlet in the past. Customer service was great, and efficient. The sales seem to be a reasonable price. I did buy a few items. The store was clean and had a nice vibe. I would shop here again in the near future. Give the storefront a visit, you will surely find something nice and unique.”
