The water wheel of the original wheelhouse of 1793 has been recreated several times due to wood rot, and at times when the river water level is high enough, particularly in the spring and consistently up to June, you may observe the wheel in action, providing mechanical energy to power some of the mill machines in the exhibit hall for demonstration purposes, as explained by the staff running a miniature wheel model.”

“Drop off address in downtown Providence is incorrect on Google and on all of our paperwork! This caused us to nearly miss our train as we could not locate the drop off. The location of 1 Dorrance St. is a parking garage that is not affiliated with Budget. When we finally located it a half mile away, Budget employees said the address has been incorrect for years. Fortunately, the very nice room yes there drove us to the train station do we caught our train about 2 minutes before it was leaving. PLEASE UPDATE GOOGlE AND YOUR WEBSITE WITH YOUR CORRECT ADDRESS! DROP OFF WAS A NIGHTMARE!”

“My daughter had a bad experience at another hertz … I had called this office to see if they could help us and swap the car… Maria was such a great help she kept in touch with us and went above and beyond to help get my daughter in an equivalent size vehicle to the one she owns as we were going through the insurance because someone had hit her car earlier in the week! But they were so understanding to our family situation she usually drives her 2 non verbal asd brothers to and from school and she had been put in something compact which just wasn’t helping the situation! I honestly can’t thank them enough for going above and beyond and just being so knowledgeable at what they do and keeping us informed every step of the way!! Their customer service was amazing!!!!
