She also is doing all the alterations for me, knowing that they close at 2 pm on a Saturday. “Just a tiny boutique with a big bang! I love this shop because somehow they always have what I don't know I want or need. In the beginning of the summer I got a dress by Choklate/Paris. I got a zillion compliments on it and then I bought another for a dear friends birthday and another for the fall. They have dresses /outfits for daily wear or special events that are super stylish and original. I have also picked up some great jewelry and a poncho for insanely reasonable prices. “I finally made my pilgrimage to Bedlam today and it was worth the 6 hours I drove there and back. The owner, Mathew, is very knowledgeable about the clothes he sells. I went in on tuesday, which he says is slowest, and he took me through almost everything in the strore and let me try it all on
while we talked music. It was truly an experience but here's my advice, walk in and talk to him directly before you look around. He will help you find what you are looking for but know that he knows his stuff. People say they "dress goth" but he knows that there's a style difference between goth, industrial, cyber goth, cyber punk, corporate goth, bondage, the list goes on. Ask Mathew for help and tell him what you like for fashion and he will guide you. He's honest to a fault so you can trust he's not trying to sell you just anything off the rack, he wants you to look good and feel comfortable”

“Charlie has a wealth of information on menswear. Each conversation I had with him I was able to learn a lot. I had a custom suit made and the turnaround was faster than expected and it came out great. He’s also a great guy in general. Will for sure be returning for future menswear. The seamstress Pat who also works there is also great. She nailed all my suit measurements and so when I put it on it felt perfect.”
