“The owner of Newave Studios , Rashida, is an amazing woman. She is very welcoming, dedicated, and professional. She helped me by choreographing a phenomenal dance for my wedding. I came to her only one month before the wedding with zero to none dancing experience nor any dancing skills, and she was willing to help even so. We met several times to practice even on weekends. We even practiced on the dance floor at the reception so that we can make sure the steps will fit in perfectly. She is a great teacher and even a better and wonderful friend.”
“Our family hosted a funeral luncheon recently and the food was terrific,it was hot and plentiful.The recent renovations offered a comfortable and plesent enviorment, hopefully that will be extended to the restrooms in the future. It was a lovely affair that we were glad to share with our family and friends.We celebrated moms 80 th birthday and her farewell 92 nd birthday there. “This is our go-to place when visiting family nearby. Always decorated for the holidays. Lobby and dining area clean as could be. Has a small gym with all the basics. Pool seems good, but we haven't used it. We wanted the hot tub, but our last 2 visits, it wasn't working. A little more expensive than a nearby hotel but worth it if you want to enjoy the hotel more than just a place to sleep.Rooms: Light and airyWalkability: Can walk to food and even some stores if you like a short walk. Not many sidewalks but all "across" the street.Food & drinks: Breakfast is plentiful and stays open a decent amount of time.”
“We always love going to this cinemark , is so well clean and I definitely loved how they have the lines now. There was a lovely worker there that received us with at smile and got our order quickly and with a smile on her face. Her name is Betty hopefully you guys can recognize her for her outstanding job. Hopefully cinemark keeps employees like that around it makes the place more pleasure to go in. Also a coffe bar won't be a bad idea after all. And one last thing the place was clean! That's a plus!”
“Price is in line with other Gymnastics Centers. Coach Ann and Coach Nikko are very good with the kids. My daughter has been going for a little over 6 months and lives it! Clean facility with lots of equipment choices for the kids. Definitely a great place to start if your kids are interested in gymnastics.”

“We had our wedding at The Scranton Cultural Center last weekend. This venue was an easy choice based on the beauty and history. We were beyond pleased with the staff throughout the night. Accommodating, friendly, and fun! Karen helped guide our bridal party throughout the night and she very quickly felt like one of our wedding guests, looking out for us and making the night the absolute best for us. Organized and personable! The bar tenders were also just the best! Making lovely drinks, looking out for the bride and groom and SO kind. A number one choice for venue for sure!”

“This place is weird.That was my initial reaction upon checking in; what I find weird is the building itself. Room layouts was spacious but a bit strange and the air feels poorly circulated. There was also no decoration in the room and the furniture felt like an afterthought. However the staff is incredibly accommodating, hospitable, and the food at the restaurant is far better than what you usually find in hotel restaurants like this. If I’m in the area again I will stay here.”
“We recently hosted our October 2023 wedding at POSH, and there is no doubt in our mind that we chose the right venue.Josh (the owner, and on-site event coordinator) made the planning process seamless. His years of experience in hosting weddings and other large-scale events were evident as he guided us through the event logistics. Josh is very easy to work with, accommodating, reasonable, and organized.On the day of the event, Josh and his team were great to work with. They were attentive to every detail and handled everything that came up last-minute (there’s always something!).We got many compliments from our guests on the food, the beauty of the building, and the waitstaff. The appetizers were wonderful, the dinner was delicious, the space allowed for great pictures, and the waitstaff worked in teams like you find in fancy restaurants. “We had a surprise dinner for my parents 50th. There were about 25 of us. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious! The atmosphere was relaxed. They also catered a party we had last summer and the experience was the same. Friendly and accommodating! I would highly recommend The High Bridge House!”
