“You see the face of this dog? That's the face of a dog who has destroyed every indestructible toy she has had her teeth on. It says destroy proof for heavy chewers? She finds the one weakness in 2 minutes and it's torn apart.
I go to this store and they recomend me toys that are meant to be destroyed. They have multiple layers to rip off and a little surprise in the center.
It has been a month and a half, and she has only just now starting ripping out the inner layers through one teeny tiny hole she has been working on.
Hands down the best toy I ever bought as it's lasted her a thousand times longer than anything else. She goes crazy on it every day!

The young man not only led me to a good sale price, he also picked up the 40lb bag, took it to the register and then all the way to my car which as a 70 year old I truly appreciated that. . “My 8# Yorkie had been injured by a groomer at the Dog Stop on Washington Blvd. I waited 3 months b4 taking her anywhere for grooming b/c I wanted to allow Lilybear to decompress from her trauma. A friend recommended Janice and despite the fact that LilyBear immediately attempted to bite Janice, Janice persevered & was able to complete a mini groom. I’m so grateful - hopefully, next time Lilybear will be a little more calm. I’ll definitely return!”
“I may be biased as I am married to Ryan, and we have known Brad for many many years, but I love this little store! Even if I didn't know them, I'm sure by the end of a first visit I would. They are both knowledgeable in many different animal care aspects. They have high quality foods, toys, litter (I want to cry when they are out of my favorite one!), treats, and more. Make sure to stop in and say hi! You may even get to see one of the visiting foster cats up for adoption!”

“I am an elderly female with a very powerful Pitbull which is not friendly with other dogs. She is fantastic with people as long as they do,not try to hurt me. The trainer and floor associates recognized me immediately outside and for warned me of large number of dogs inside store. I was ready to cancel her needed rabies shot and try for another time when they very quickly stepped forward to assist me in getting the shot accomplished. Their concern and overall kindness with both me and my pet Lady was amazing and definitely not part of their job discription or my expectations. They made sure my pet was weighed then vet and assistant cared for her and gave her her needed shot in grooming are using outside entrance for me to enter. Then I went to,pay and trainer stepped forward to stay with Lady so I could go into store and do this. Great experience which I almost believed To be an impossible accomplishment that they made possible for me and my Fur Baby with as little stress as posssible. They are amazing and I definitely will continue to my food and treat purchases from them and will continue with my Petco Vital Care Premier membership. I will also highly recommend this Petco to others.”

“This Petco store sells merchandise such as foods, accessories, beds, carriers, toys, and hygiene products for dogs, cats, fishes, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small household pets. When I shopped in this store, I bought my cat's favorite flavors of wet foods for a typical price. The prices, however, for her dry food, toys, furniture, and litter were higher than what I could get online. The cashier did a very good job of ringing up my purchase. This Petco also offers grooming, training, veterinary services, and adoptions.”
“This is by far the best best best pet supply place in Pittsburgh. Everyone is knowledgeable and pleasant. They are a no kill refuge for dogs, cats and rabbits. The fish and fish supplies manager is unequaled in Pittsburgh - he wants your fish to thrive. They only stock top quality pet foods - no sugar or fillers. (Yes, it costs more than the addictive pet crack at the supermarket.) It's out of the way but so worth it.”

“I had no idea there were so many gourmet foods available for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals. Currently, it's a guinea pig takeover. I have mixed feelings about animals in pet shops, although I have rescued a few from such situations in the past. This is not to imply that the residents are not cared for there. They seemed reasonably content. I just can't tolerate seeing animals in cages (at the risk of being attacked by those who detest animal rights activists). Recommended reading: Empty Cages and Watership Down.
10/22/24 Update. Several cats and ferrets also available for adoption. American Natural (I call her Natalie) is very affectionate. Some of the other cats may appear wary of strangers and this is certainly understandable. They just need love and attention.”
