3519 Butler St, Pittsburgh“We've been longtime fans of Morcilla and this was the best meal we've had. The food is outstanding. The smaller space makes it too noisy but it's worth the sacrifice for the very unique food.”
“My go to meat market. Staff are always ready to help and very friendly. Holiday seasons are usually the busiest. Do call ahead and place your order if during that time.”
“Truly a one-of -a-kind establishment. If one prefers quality meats and supporting locally-owned businesses, this is the place. It's also the place to go if you care to see what Pittsburgh and true Pittsburghers are all about. Characters of all walks of life pass in, and out, of this bustling place and unknowingly provide entertainment as you shop. Dedicated employees offer quick, helpful service and some light-hearted joking on the side with their regular customers.”
“I just want to know if their meat is of good/great quality. All you guys complain about is the little guy or talk about price. How is the freakin quality of meat? Real meat or Lab meat? Farm grown or Bill Gates grown? We are living in crazy times. So tell us .. real meat non injected or not?”

2923 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh“Best value for money. Hands down. The service is almost fast food style and you grab your food and eat or takeaway. The seating area is very basic but comfortable. Had the shawarma and it was basically enough for two servings. Its huge. The taste was okay. Had the chicken samosas. They are not as spicy as Indian samosas but still very well seasoned. Definitely one of the best cheap eats in Pittsburgh.”
“The crew down at Fat Butcher are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. I often walk in without a set plan and they always come through with great ideas and recommendations. Grateful to have such an amazing business so close. When it comes to where I get my beef/pork/lamb/etc. there isn’t a second thought!P.s. their pastrami is one of the true hidden gems of Pittsburgh”
