This is a gem of a gallery that features an eclectic mix of pieces. It's run by a co-op and I love that the artists are often the ones working there. Everyone is always warm and welcoming and the pieces are interesting and well priced. They participate in the first Friday exhibitions too. Make it a point to stop by and specifically check out the pieces by Joe Klaus - stunning! I've got one of his originals in my home and highly recommend.

Nice variety of work on view. Too bad they are not open when people are walking around...like after work, on their way to dinner, or going to the theater. They lose a ton of foot traffic.

As a collector of works on paper by artists both living and dead, this is my favorite gallery in Philadelphia. The gallery offers high quality work for sale by top-tier local artists. Prices in the gallery are always reasonable and there is a room of smaller works at the back of the gallery that are "cash and carry." One thing that appeals to me is that the gallery is a cooperative run by the member artists, so it is the artists who benefit from the sale of their art, not some gallery owner. In their current location just south of South Street, new monthly exhibits premier on the 4th Friday of the month.
