Nice variety of work on view. Too bad they are not open when people are walking around...like after work, on their way to dinner, or going to the theater. They lose a ton of foot traffic.

From 3rd Street Gallery

Since its inception in 1978, 3rd Street Gallery has been an artist-run cooperative in Philadelphia. The gallery brings together past and new generations of independent artists, who actively create new work for the gallery's exhibitions. Splitting their time between their studios and the gallery, our member artists volunteer their efforts on the day-to-day business and logistical operations of the gallery that enables our co-op to adapt to the ever-changing world of art. 3rd Street Gallery actively seeks to foster new and unique relationships between its artists and the public by participating in Fabric Row’s Fourth Fridays, Philadelphia Open Studio Tours and by annually hosting open-invitations to its varied community-based exhibitions.
