“These folks are in a town called Slatington. Located in the slate belt region of Pennsylvania. Very quaint town filled with friendly and the folks at A F Boyer are just as friendly. When you walk in it's like going back into time to an America gone by, where folks treat you like you are one of the locals or just about family. Guns Guns and more guns. They do transfers too, and oh yes it's a hardware store too. Pay them a visit and after your purchase take a stroll into the town, it's a pleasant history filled place, from the canal along the picturesque homes that line the edge or the rails to trails route that winds thru town and beyond. I live about 30 miles away, but I come to Boyer's often now. Merry Christmas folks.”
“Purchase all echo trimmers, attachments, toro snowblower here and service here, they keep all the purchases on record. But the other day I brought in a tow behind cart wheel for a new tube, it was serviced in 10 minutes! no days wait and no return to pick it up, allowed me to use the cart on the weekend to lay 8 yards mulchNow, thats service and I appreciated it!”

Plus they have a huge selection of dremel,rotozip bits,drill bits,sawzall blades,router and accessories. If by chance they dont have what u need, they will direct you to someone they trust to help you. I love plaza hardware. Been shopping there for 20plus years. Shop local save your community. “We absolutely love Valley for all our hardware needs! I'm in there on a regular basis, as I'm a home decorator and budget DIYer for a living. They've always had everything we've needed, even tiny items we never dream they'll have, yet always do. They even have items you can't find at Lowe's or Home Depot and would have to order otherwise. They'll take the time to find anything you're looking for in the store, unlike the bigger stores where you could wander for an hour just trying to find an employee to help you. They even went out of their way to look through dozens of tiny screws to try and find a match for an 1880 rim lock I lost the screw to. And it fit perfectly when I got home. I only buy their brand of paint as well, since all the other more expensive ones I've tried have failed miserably. One coat of their paint covered over deep red walls in our dining room without any primer. Heading back to Valley today for wood filler. So thankful to have this little store so close to home!”
“Harbor Freight is mainly for tools and car parts now days. I remember when I could go in there I find miscellaneous items cheap, but it's changed. Not in a bad way. They have just dedicated themselves into one category. Nothing wrong with that! ?”

Awesome and. a local business!!!!! No waiting and has a big supply of other tools and loctight. fluid. I'll be back again real soon for rear bearings. Also installed bearings and working great!!!”

“I would rather go to Lowe's, but I needed to return stuff and with that merch credit, I got paint. I thought I bought this particular paint that I needed for touch ups at Home Depot. Nope, Lowe's. The young gentleman working in the paint area figured out what color it was and mixed it and answered questions knowledgeably.”
