“These folks are in a town called Slatington. Located in the slate belt region of Pennsylvania. Very quaint town filled with friendly and the folks at A F Boyer are just as friendly. When you walk in it's like going back into time to an America gone by, where folks treat you like you are one of the locals or just about family. Guns Guns and more guns. They do transfers too, and oh yes it's a hardware store too. Pay them a visit and after your purchase take a stroll into the town, it's a pleasant history filled place, from the canal along the picturesque homes that line the edge or the rails to trails route that winds thru town and beyond. I live about 30 miles away, but I come to Boyer's often now. Merry Christmas folks.”

“This shop has so many awesome things and is always bringing in new items as well. I love that they also sell items made locally and really support the local community. The owners are really friendly and knowledgeable. I hadn’t stopped in there for the longest time because I thought it was just hardware for the house…man was I wrong! Awesome and. a local business!!!!! No waiting and has a big supply of other tools and loctight. fluid. I'll be back again real soon for rear bearings. Also installed bearings and working great!!!”

“After walking through the entrance it felt like I went back in time (I mean that in a good way). They have a great selection of items but the most notable part was the customer service. After I spent 6 or 7 minutes looking for the item I came to purchase the owner/manager offered his assistance. When he asked what I was looking for (eGO power head attachment) I pulled out my phone and showed him. And then to my surprise he invited me to go back to his office to see if they actually had the item in stock. Who does this in these current times?After a few minutes with checking the inventory, we went back to the shop floor, moved a few boxes and we found the item I was looking for.One would be hard pressed to receive this kind of personalized customer service at the big box stores.I’ll definitely be coming back to shop here in the future.”
