“This was probably the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the rooms were very very clean and smelled wonderful, the o reilys restaurant food was delicious and they gave very large food portions and the restaurant staff were very warm and kind, check in and check out was super simple and easy. We had a lot of fun at the pool. The laundry machines were very nice as well. Everything was truly five star. Will be recommending this hotel to all of my friends and family who visit Harrisburg/Hershey Park area.
Rooms: CLEAN. Flat screen tv. Nice window views. Comfortable beds. No bugs.”

“Truck broke down between Texas and Vermont and this hotel is less than 2 miles from where it's getting fixed. Suite was nice for a 2 day stay with the two of us WFH while "stuck" here. Breakfast is nice and well stocked. Kept clean. Room well maintained. Art is nice. Staff even allowed us a delayed departure which was super helpful.”

“I attend the AICUP presidents event at this venue annually for many years and we have had excellent experiences each and every time. The hotel has easy parking, accommodating staff, beautiful ambience, and clean rooms and conference areas. The food is excellent- as we have had catered breakfast lunch and dinner each year. This year I especially loved our wait staff for our university presidents' dinner last night. They were so friendly and personable. They really made the entire dining experience wonderful.”

“A great hotel. Have stayed numerous times for conferences nearby. Easy access, pleasant staff, great accomodations. Last time there, I forgot my tablet, the staff secured it and manager Scott Rothrock mailed it back to me. I thought that was very nice.

Wanted to stay at candlewood because it's an IHG hotel, and the room was nice and spacious. However, Stacey, the housekeeper, did not completely make one of the beds or vacuum/sweep the floors, nor did she clean the toilet.

“The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place seemed clean and didnt have unpleasant odor. I was expecting hot tub, but it and the pool were broken. the fire alarms on the 2nd floor went off around 10 pm, everybody went down to lobby and it was a false alarm. Apparently this had been happening for several nights in a row and guests were concerned. Since these are kitchenettes someone could be cooking. Reasonable. The weird part was around 1 AM the light under the microwave went on by itself. Neither my husband nor myself had turned it on. The light went off again by itself while we were sleeping. No reasonable explanation because nothing else was affected...management have a clue?”

“Booked thru Delta. Check-in was a breeze. The rooms were not ready because we got here at noon. However they were so nice to hold our bags while we hopped over to bucknell.”
“A bit pricey but it's not bad with breakfast included and it runs until 10, so you have time to relax. Service was good and the rooms were decent except for the bathrooms.
They to upgrade all the toilets in the whole building. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with my stay, and would come back again. A very relaxing stay with almost no stress.”
“2/24: Nice enough hotel and recommend if you can get a good rate.Couple of issues:Very loud hotel. Very thin walls, and my room had adjoining rooms on both sides so I heard stuff all night. You can hear highway traffic all night long.Darkest bathroom I’ve ever been in, could’ve used way more light.Convenient chat function, should be available at all Marriotts.However, requested housekeeping at 9am two different days (and requested early due to taking conference calls in the room) and both days they still didn’t show up until 3pm, which is a major issue for me.Last weird thing, they had sheets branded for Best Western. Not expected at Sheraton, which is supposed to be a pretty upscale brand.”

He let me check in early. The room was spotless. Bathroom same way. The elevator was fine.I unloaded our car and went to pickup my wife at her seminar.She was concerned about the negative reviews also.We were both really happy with the accommodations.The breakfast was really wonderful.Everything was covered. They had a great assortment of goodies.We will stay here again.”
