“Ok people not only do I write reviews here, but I also do the same for Yelp. I dont care who it is, I'm always writing what I truly feel So about 1 month ago, my Sante Fe Sport would only operate in 2nd gear. Engine light came on got a free diagnostic from Advanced auto and it read a PO-773 solenoid E. I was referred to a transmission guy in Bordentown, NJ but he could not get to me advising bring car back in a week. The next week came and again he did not have the time. I went on Yelp and located Gooddeal Transmission in Fairless Hills PA because it was close to me. There were only 5 reviews, the last one being about two years ago. I then went to google maps near me and Gooddeal popped up with 27 reviews last one being 3 months ago. All were positive. Off to Gooddeal I go. My first advice is DONT judge a book by its cover. When I pulled up, this place is in a building shared by 3 other businesses and trust me the outside is far from inviting. The building is old and cars parked everywhere with weeds growing everywhere. I felt I was in a junk yard but what was I going to do, my car needing fixing. Trust me I was uncomfortable. After locating the door I entered into a gloomy dark front office and a gentleman was sitting behind the desk. The office looks like a hoarders room at first but when you look around it is actually in order and all is placed neatly. The man only said five words, "how can I help you". I explained what I had and he simply said drop it off Wednesday and Ill take a look. I left and said omg what am i doing, will I actually get the same car back. But again I'm stuck and need it fixed. I dropped my car off Tuesday night utilizing the night drop box. i get a call Thursday and the man stated he sees the problem and needs to order parts. The total cost was $650. Believing this was a good price, I agreed for him to fix. Friday morning i receive another call stating my car was done. I said to the gentleman, "really its finished already". He stated, " you dropped it off and I fixed it" When i picked up my car and made sure it was the same one (LOL). I signed my receipt and we actually had a brief but pleasant conversation. To everyone who has read this far, i reiterate, dont judge a book by its cover. I dropped my car off, got a fair good price and received the car back quickly. Gooddeal is a legitimate business and I will recommend it to anyone with transmission problems. This father and son team know what they are doing. Oh and my car runs great and shifts smoothly.”
