“I took my car to Dempsey's without calling ahead of time because I forgot the name of the place. Both times the owner came outside and spent time looking at my car and figuring out the problem and let me know what needed to be done. One of the times I was working with a different automotive place and after a few failed attempts and me realizing that they weren't gonna solve the problem, I took my car to Dempsey's to see if they could help. Ryan, the owner, came outside on the spot and helped me with my car by examining the symptom and then letting me know what needed to be done. I was shocked because like I said, another mechanic couldn't get to the bottom of the issue but Ryan was able to identify the problem, told me what needed to be done, and charged me a very reasonable price! I was new to the area but after the second visit there I knew I found my mechanic. The only reason I didn't stay with him after the first time was I ended up at the wrong place by mistake. Dempsey's gets you in very quickly and is VERY reasonably priced. I won't take my car anywhere else and I'm really glad I found them!Services: Electrical repair”

“I wanted to shout out a local business who helped me in a jam yesterday! On my way to the train station, and subsequently backtracking because the road was blocked off, I ran over a fallen tree branch that got lodged in the undercarriage of my car. I tried getting it out by the side of the road but it was really stuck. I slowly drove, dragging the stick along, to the garage at the top of my street but they didn’t have anyone to help me until 8:45am (it was 7am). I drove the second garage and they were awesome!I am shouting out Hometown Auto for not only getting the branch out (they had to put my car on lifts) but doing it in 10ish minutes. And they didn’t charge me anything. Just did it because it’s good to help people. We go here regularly for our car stuff because they’re efficient and honest. And now because they’re good people.”

“I looked all over PA for a specific kind of car that would fit my budget. I Went to look at 3 at this dealership! I ended up buying one, but had issues as soon as we left the lot. Pro Sports stood behind their sale and what they said about the car and they made it right/replaced the faulty part. They even helped with my transportation costs since I was stranded. Unfortunately a short while later something else went wrong related to the repairs they performed and I was sure they would not want to help, but again they did - they stood behind their work and their word and they fixed the issue. “Two weeks ago my relatively new Q8 was having electrical errors and I was able to pull over at Audi. Luckily they opened in 30 minutes so I could figure out what was going on. They were able to address my car needed a new alternator and they stated that Audi was aware of the issues. They were so accommodating and provided a loaner to me to use while they ordered the parts. Karli kept me updated throughout the past two weeks which was great. Surprisingly it was ready after two weeks and at no cost after leveraging this issue to Audi. I was so appreciate of the loaner during this time given I travel a lot for work and I feel they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Hopefully I don't have to visit again soon but I know where to go if I need to.”

“Really friendly staff and great work. The job looks perfect. I've never had anything done like this before to a vehicle, so I don't have anything to measure against, but I was shocked that a door/back panel for small repair took over 30 days (2012 Honda Odyssey). They preemptively told me they can't be held accountable for delay in parts delivery, and also strongly reminded me of that when I picked up the car and was informed about leaving a review. I honestly can't tell if it's the perfect scapegoat or if it's the nature of all collision shops.Although I was told to remove anything I would need from the car during drop off, I was then asked to remove everything else at a later time. It was not a requirement, and the rep was friendly and very understanding, but I think the initial appointment phone call should include something like this, "We won't know the extent of the repair until we fully examine your vehicle, but it's best to empty your car in the event we need to remove any interior panels to complete the job".”

“Needed an annual state inspection on my freightliner cascadia… called multiple places but couldn’t get any shop time. So, decided to call the Volvo dealership. They were hesitant to get me in initially but agreed to have me in the shop. As soon as I arrived, they checked me in and got the truck inspected, road test done and gave me a new state inspection sticker on my windshield.Couldn’t ask for better service. All you freightliner owners, if you needed a state inspection and couldn’t get it done at other places, give this Volvo dealership a call. They took care of me right there.”
