616 Union St, Columbia“This store is such a nice change from the hectic impersonal atmosphere of those other warehouse style hardware stores.
After my recent experience at this Ace store I've declared it my default go-to hardware store.
No they don't have appliances or lumber or a garden center but they everything else including hard to find stuff the other stores might not have, as well as friendly informative employees.”
“Monday morning I dashed into your store to purchase a microwave that died on me on the weekend. Thanks for your professional sales team and installer who installed it the next day. We were in a tight time crunch and once again you provided great service! In the last 2 years I purchased 5 appliances and highly recommend your store and your personal and reasonable prices.”

“If anyone is worried about hosetters being under new owners...don't. Have dealt with them for over 30 years and the experience of an unplanned freezer purchase was one of the best experiences ever. Beyond nice and helpful and we all know how hard that is to find. Thanks to Nick, Lucian, and Susan and delivery team. A+++”
“So I have to tell you this story. As a child, my father would only by Stanley tool from Sears as they had a life time warranty. Lowes Kobalt tools have the same "hassle free life time warranty". Over a decade ago I purchased a roughly $150 Kobalt tool set. I was sure that I had a picture of the receipt saved. Well.i didn't. So I walk in with my broken container which carried the tools. The tools were fine but the box itself was broken. So I trudged into what is was sure was going to a nightmare of an experience. In less than 15 minutes I walked out with a new tool set. Go Lowes!!”
“I was in need of new window screens for my house. I had one old screen frame as a model. I called around to different hardware stores and finally found out that Fricke's was one of the few stores who still build, repair, and re-screen screens for windows. All of the employees there were very helpful and I can tell that they all work hard to make this store a great place in the community. Great experience. Highly recommend.”
