“Don't go in here if you love your money. I don't say this in a bad way but what I mean is if you go in here with a budget in mind, you're bound to come back with 2X or 3X of that budget because everything here is so good. The first time I visited I was pretty overwhelmed because of the variety of brands but over time I have developed taste for certain brands. Everything that you want to make an authentic Italian Dish and more you will find here. My favorite section is the Deli which has a large collection of cheese, olives and cured meat. Definitely the best selection anywhere in Pittsburgh. I also love that freshly made pasta. The only thing is don't really buy stuff that you can find in a normal grocery store from here because it will be priced higher. Just go for the specialty stuff which you cannot find in a normal grocery store around Pittsburgh.”
“I was having my car towed to a shop to have it repaired and the AAA driver who was Towing my car spoke about this store I don't want to pronounce the name because I don't want to mess it up but this Market was everything that the driver said it was and what the driver said was that they had the best sandwiches well I was hungry one day and as I passed the store I decided to make a short left turn park my car and then throw off into that facility oh boy am I glad I did I got an Italian sub sandwich and I have to tell you this homemade sandwich that they put together was just awesome it was so delicious and to add a topping to that they had homemade pastries and I purchase chocolate chip cookies and their peanut butter cookies were to die for why do I say that because I'm a peanut butter cookie crazy woman I love peanut butter cookies so if you're ever in the area stop off at the family store it's a modest Market and they have beautiful fruit also it is well worth the efforts and the husband and wife couple that runs it they are so friendly so kind and attentive they definitely will see me again and probably again and again thank you”

5151 Butler St, Pittsburgh“The crew down at Fat Butcher are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. I often walk in without a set plan and they always come through with great ideas and recommendations. Grateful to have such an amazing business so close. When it comes to where I get my beef/pork/lamb/etc. there isn’t a second thought!P.s. their pastrami is one of the true hidden gems of Pittsburgh”
“Beef jerky experience, indeed! Beef jerky has never been my go-to snack so I’m not a pro when it comes to flavor, texture, etc. I’ve tried it a handful of times and every time I didn’t exactly enjoy the complete experience. Sometimes the flavor is not enough, but mostly in my experience, the beef is just too hard. Until I went to Beef Jerky Experience, I didn’t know beef jerky could practically melt in my mouth. I wouldn’t normally stop in a beef jerky store, but I thought maybe I could buy some and bring it back home for my family to try. They love it. I ended up trying a whole bunch of samples which happens every Sunday, lucky me. I had recommendations thrown my way, friendly people, and I didn’t hate anything. I’m just annoyed I didn’t buy more because my family wanted more as well after trying these. It’s a small store with a large variety of beef jerky, merchandise, and other items. As you may know, this place is on a very busy strip, so most days you will have to pay for parking unless you know something I don’t. Or if it’s the Lords day. I’m sure a lot of people have been through this joint but if you haven’t, try it because I didn’t know I’m a beef jerky person. Just had to find the right ones for me. You’re welcome jagoffs*!”
“Truly a one-of -a-kind establishment. If one prefers quality meats and supporting locally-owned businesses, this is the place. It's also the place to go if you care to see what Pittsburgh and true Pittsburghers are all about. Characters of all walks of life pass in, and out, of this bustling place and unknowingly provide entertainment as you shop. Dedicated employees offer quick, helpful service and some light-hearted joking on the side with their regular customers.”
“Some great tacos and interesting grocery. Stop here when in the area for some of the best tacos. Pay inside and order outside. There is area to choose ur toppings and salsa. Some picnic tables and friendly others enjoying their tacos. If in the neighborhood be sure to stop and enjoy.”
“My go to meat market. Staff are always ready to help and very friendly. Holiday seasons are usually the busiest. Do call ahead and place your order if during that time.”
“Morcilla was a decadent experience. We ordered the mushrooms, oxtail, softshell crab, octopus, and salad, and then somehow stuffed in the sorbet. Our favorites were the oxtail and octopus. No need to get both the octopus and the crab together; their sauces are quite similar. The wait staff was incredibly kind!”
“Our community's go to market whether you need a last minute item to finish dinner or to fill your cart for the entire meal. They have all the essentials you need in a small footprint and there's never a long wait to check out!”
“Purchased hot and mild Italian sausage links on recommendations from my cousin. Both were very good. The hot was spicy but not uncomfortable. The mild was perfect. Also purchased some Soppressata. The very best I have every had. This is a worthwhile stop whenever you are in the Strip district.”

Although prices have gone up (THEY HAVE EVERYWHERE), the staff truly tries to find the best deal and makes delicious recommendations! I really appreciate that they don't pressure you to put on a mask like some places! Excited to get another package coming up soon.”
“It's a wonderfully convenient, on a main road. The staff is very helpful and prices are great. Wide variety of farm fresh foods. Like ground grown tomatoes.K. Larkin”

100 Terence Dr, Pittsburgh“I just want to know if their meat is of good/great quality. All you guys complain about is the little guy or talk about price. How is the freakin quality of meat? Real meat or Lab meat? Farm grown or Bill Gates grown? We are living in crazy times. So tell us .. real meat non injected or not?”
“It’s great to have an ethnic, halal grocery store right in Carnegie. I have been going here for a few years now and I have only had good experiences and fresh meat and produce. They recently expanded the store and have even more to offer!”
