“It's the color that did it for me!! This previously plain brick building got a face lift with a charming splash of cobalt blue on the roof and a paler cornflower blue for the brick. It was certainly eye catching and worth the gander! Not only is the outside immaculately manicured with shrubbery and flowers, but the inside is lovely too. You can tell the postal workers here take pride in their building! The staff here is very knowledgeable and helps you find the most convenient and cost effective shipping options. Courteous and friendly service! No passport service here, but plenty of parking and roomy interior!Hours are M-F 9:00-12:00/1:00-4:30, Sat. 9:00-12:00”

“I use this UPS location constantly for shipping, and I've used them for printing a few times too. They are the friendliest crew ever. I'm always making errors with my printing orders, and they always go above and beyond fixing my errors and making sure my orders are flawless (usually at a cost to them). I'm so grateful for their constant outstanding customer service. They've truly helped me out in a pinch so many times without complaint.”

“First experience with this post office and it was lovely. They answered all my questions, helped me address my package, advised my shipping options, and it was fairly affordable to mail a package to Colorado. Polite and friendly.”

“What an asset to your company, Patricia in the copy center. I needed something really important today and no idea how to do it. Patricia was the epitamy of what good customer service is. I know her helping me took longer that we expected, but not to fear the manager jumped in to help as well. I will return to staples bcz of Patricia. Thank u”

“Had a freight customer pick-up to take care of, drove on in early in the morning, followed the flow of traffic and parked where I thought I was supposed to go. I asked a few gentlemen where Customer Pick-Up was and they were very helpful and friendly directing me where to go. I popped into the building they pointed out and wow they are so busy here. I asked one more gentleman to direct me to the right office and he actually walked me directly there, friendly as ever. Met with Diane and she was great. She got me hooked up, paperwork in hand, and had yet another friendly gentleman assist me in loading up my car. All in all, great experience in a very smooth running operation, from a customer pickup standpoint.”

“I’ve mailed about 350 packages from this post office over the past 2 years. Aside from the understaffing and somewhat long lines at peak hours (first thing, lunch, 3p-end of day), I have had little issue and am usually (9 times out of 10) back to my car within the free 15-minute parking meter time limit. There are 2-3 employees who have been working the front during this time. There are currently 1-2 newer employees who are efficient and have good attitudes toward work, so hopefully they will stick around and work through the customers who don’t realize these employees have no control over delayed/lost packages, mail carriers who quit, or customers who don’t complete proper forms. During the past 3 years, I have noticed our regular mail carrier has rotated/changed 3 or 4 times. The carriers have always been courteous of our property and placed our packages on our porch as we’ve requested. On my end, I make sure my yard is clear from the mailbox to porch (I even clear a path in the snow during winter) and will occasionally (at least once per week) meet them in the yard or at the mailbox when they are delivering. As far as lost packages/undelivered mail goes, I have not experienced undelivered regular mail yet. We have had 100s of packages delivered and they are handled with care by our regular worker. There have been 10-20 instances over the past 3-4 years of issues with tracking packages or packages seeming like they are lost in the system. Each time, I use the USPS website help request form for missing mail/packages, and have received email contact by the end of the next business day. There is an “additional comment” section and I always specify where the package was last and where it needs to go. There have been 2 instances when I requested phone communication, and within 2 days I have received a phone call. I’m my work experiences as a case manager, counselor, marketer, and court liaison, I have learned that yelling and acting out of anger rarely helps resolve a situation. I have never felt like the post office in Carlisle has been discourteous or disrespectful towards me as a customer or resident of Carlisle. Especially around holiday times, I try to remember that many of their packages are basically delivered by the pallet (especially from Amazon). I try to remember there are hundreds of millions of pieces of mail being handled daily, most likely hourly, all across the country. Yes, I am egotistical and want my needs to be met, but in the grand scheme of this country’s logistical infrastructure, I ultimately am one singular data point that is pretty much insignificant, and I will fall into the margin of error every once in awhile.”
