“Chris is absolutely brilliant at impossible, tricky, elusive car repairs.
Our 1999 Lexus RX300 had a NOx sensor issue that could not be fixed by multiple car repair faculties. The Lexus dealer wanted a incredible amount to just diagnose the problem and much more to address the issue with no guarantee.
Chris, very patiently, dug into this over a period of time, methodically eliminating all the possibilities till be found the root cause and fixed the issue. During the process he also found and alerted us to other issues on our car that we got addressed. He also helped get our car through DEQ with ease. All in all a really pleasant experience, fair pricing, and a wonderful person to work with! We will definitely go back to him for our car repairs.

“The folks here couldn't be more helpful, I've had my vehicle in once for replacement cat. converter and a second time when the car was wearing out.On the Cat replacement they came in under quote and quicker than expected, and fixed a few small things that I didn't even as them to look at.When the car had reached its end of life, I had it towed there after a major mechanical issue, they diagnosed the problem and allowed me to store it on lot til I could get it towed to disposal.100% my mechanic for the future, they should be yours too.”
“After talking with a couple of shops about clutch, torque tube rebuild and transmission rebuild on my C5 Z06, Steve's shop was the right place. Steve and Brian both have Corvettes and the shop races a C5. These guys know vettes. Michelle kept me updated every step of the way. Went back and did the AFE suspension bushing replacement and the car is better than new. Work was first rate and I know of several others who have been extremely happy with Modern. “I had such a great experience with Caliber Collision in Tualatin. The repairs I needed done were covered by insurance, though I had several companies to choose from and I chose based off google star rating. I am so happy with my choice. They made the entire process as smooth and easy as I could imagine, and did a fantastic job of keeping me updated via text. Everyone I spoke with was polite, professional, and kind. They handled almost all the coordinating with the insurance company as well, and they were able to complete the repairs well within the timeframe they told me to expect.
They also coordinate with a rental car company and really made the whole process as seamless as it could be.”

“I own a ’52 Chevy 5 window pickup. Had it since ‘77. She’s family. It currently has a small block 350 in it, with a 1406 Edelbrock carb. It’s always run rough and rich, leaving me somewhere between disappointed and frustrated. I finally sought out a tune-up performance specialist, read reviews on this shop, and made an appointment.Tony is a tune-up whisperer. He lives and breaths cars. He’s a drag racer with a passion for performance and quality results. In four hours or so, he diagnosed and remedied the issues with my truck and gave it a righteous tune. It’s not just civilized, it’s a refined driver now. My truck has a new godfather now. Uncle Tony.”

“Liberty Water Seal is incredible, they gave top notch service. I had a leak that created mold all over the car, it was nightmare. Paul got back to me right away via phone and gave me a quote and even scheduled a pick up for my car. Anthony called every day while my car was in their hands, giving me real time updates. They had the car for a few days, fixed the leak and cleaned the car from top to bottom - they went above and beyond with communication, detailing and service. My car looks brand new, they performed a literal miracle! I would recommend them to anyone who needs a leak repair and detail.”

“I have been using Sherwood Auto Repair for the last 16 years or so. They have worked on numerous vehicles for me and my friends and a few neighbors. I don't know anyone that was not satisfied with their work ...for a number of good reasons. Foremost is their honesty. They do their best to determine what is wrong and tell you what they can do to fix it. They don't "upsell". They don't recommend work, parts, or services to fatten the bill. Which means they are usually less expensive then a dealer. In the most extreme case for me ...dealer said my Toyota pickup needed a new engine for $tousands but Sherwood got me running again for $400 in repairs. That was 14 years ago and the pickup is still running. They are a small "family" type shop but have high-skill, certified, mechanics and trustworthy pricing. For me, they are to auto-repair what Les Schwab is to tires. Friendly, high skill, trustworthy, resonable in price. You can't do better than that.”
