“While travelling thru Oregon, just outside of bend , the battery light came on. We stopped in at sisters only auto parts , they referred us to 3 sisters automotive.
While the shop was super busy , the manager Danny did some testing and found that the alternator was failing.Even though he could change it out that day,he phoned around and found one in bend and arranged for us to pick it up (thru his account). As we were travelling with friends, we ended up going back to bend , grabbing the new alternator along with some basic tools.
Back at the shop, Danny was there to assist us in any way needed. He lent us a pop tent to shade the car, a few tools we didn't have and let us clean up before heading out!
To top it off...Danny only charge us his cost for the alternator and then offered us a job…lol

“My car had been making a strange grinding noise all day and I took it in to Van Hansel to get it checked out before starting to drive home to Seattle. They topped off my transmission fluid and oil and checked everything out just to be sure things looked safe, free of charge! “The Les Schwab Tire Center in Sisters Oregon ls Amazing! I was literally stranded, near the Summit on hwy 20, with a blow out and no spare tire, 19 miles away from the nearest town, Sisters. I called Les Schwab and talked to Dave and he calmed me down, found a tire to fit my car, quoted me a reasonable price and told me he would have someone on the way to bring me a tire and put it on for me. Shawn arrived a short time after with a new tire and even in the heat of the day after a 20 minute drive up the mountain was so courteous and nice and he had my ruined tire off and the new one on in a jiffy. He explained to me how I got the blow out and then noticed I had another tire that shouldn't have been on my car because it was too small and he offered to switch it to the back where it would be safer for me and my car to drive on and did so without charging me extra and then checked the pressure and lug nuts on all my tires. All the while being as nice as could be while working in the nearly 100 degree heat. I have never received such outstanding customer service as I did that day and I just want to recognize these employees for their kindness and courteous service in a situation that meant they had to literally go the extra mile and they did so with a smile and highly recommend this store to anyone needing tires or service. And the price quoted was exactly what I was charged no hidden extras and it was very reasonable especially in the circumstance. Thank you Shawn, Dave and Les Schwab of Sisters, Oregon you were better then I could have hoped for in an extreme situation you were there to help get me back on the road safely. I really really appreciate your service.”
