Oregon Humane Society (OHS) is a non-profit organization that provides pet adoption services, shelters surrendered or homeless cats and dogs, teaches responsible pet care, behavior and training, and reduces pet over-population through its low-cost Spay and Neuter Clinic. Founded in 1868 by noted humanitarian Thomas Lamb Eliot, OHS is the fourth-oldest humane society in the nation. The Oregon Humane Society Salem Campus (former Willamette Humane Society) was founded in 1968 and officially merged with OHS in July 2022. The organization is praised for its excellent training classes, professional staff, and commitment to providing a valuable service to the community. Customers have found their "fur-baby companions" through the shelter and appreciate the care and attention the animals receive until they are rehomed. The facility is described as "perfect" and a "great experience" for both pets and their new families.
Such a great place, with great animals, even the volunteers love it❣️ ??

Everyone here is super friendly. I got new towels at my place so the old ones went to the animals. Can't think of a better way to use them!

Taking our puppy to training classes here. It's been a great experience. Finished our first 6-week class and getting ready to start our next class this week.
