“Absolutely stunning place. Very relaxing getaway. Complete spa like atmosphere, down to every detail: soft cozy bed with luxurious bedding, sanctuary of a shower, could easily accommodate a family of four at one time. Special touches with the bottle of wine, local coffee & chocolates. Highly recommend.a stay here!”

“When you first drive up you realize this was a motel at one time. But fear not, this Best Western is clean and friendly. The extra touches such as the towel art did not go without notice.”

“Location is perfect for us. Near In-N-Out burger, next to a gas station and Denny’s.Hotel backyard was pretty. Hot tub was very nice. Room was ok, a bit dark for us though. The desk area doesn’t have a floor lamp or desk lamp. It makes harder to read/write on the table. We tried to ask for one, but none was available.People around us seem really nice and friendly. Someone even asked if it was ok to get in the same elevator with us. ?We didn’t stay for the free breakfast but it seemed small, and similar to other holiday inn breakfasts.”

“-clean, tidy and organized room. All rooms overlook river.Breakfast can be ordered and brought to roomOnly reason for. Not 5 stars is room walls to outside and bathroom in room are very thin and you can hear road noise and bathroom noise. For the price it is great.”

“I drove almost 9 hrs from the Bay Area going to Seattle and I was too exhausted to continue driving so I decided to give Shady Oaks a try and I wasn't disappointed, the attendant was very friendly and gave me the room and parking space I requested, without a problem, the location is very quiet and convenient to hwy 5, I was very grateful with the attendant 's response when he gave me the service I was expecting, Thank you sir, you scored!”

“Firm 2 double beds, comfortable pillows, silky linens, fridge, microwave, hot water pot-handy, nutritious breakfast, environmentally friendly features sink outside of shower, one faucet less water use, ate inside our room, used desk as dining table, next to I5 exit, Exit 125, easy handicap parking next to front door, got good safety advice on road conditions before we arrive, staff called to check if we need anything, clean room, no smell, come early for breakfast no crowd, met wonderful travelers, left good tip for good service in room and in dining area. We took out our garbage, less work for staff and less throw away. Enjoyed NBA games on TV. Restaurants across the street. Stayed 2 nights and visited a relative we have not seen for years. Roseburg is a small town nestled between hills. We woke up to snow on ground, melted by noon. First snow for a long time. We enjoyed our stay and visit.Rooms: Clean, environmentally friendly features, sink in hall, no smell, comfortable beds pillows linens, lamp has electric outlet at base, heat and air system works well, adjust to your comfort.”

“I am from Florida, traveling the states. Having major vehicle issues. Came to Roseburg Inn since Midas is a rocks throw from it. My stay is extended until Car is looked at. The staff has allowed my extra stays, have accomidated me, and have the greatest personalities. As far as the rooms go .. if you are looking for snob hill uptown high rising hotels, this is not for you. If you are looking for clean, no bugs, clean sheets and towels, with many room updates including wood tile like floors, this is your home. It has a studio like apartment feel to it. Fridge, microwave, sink, etc. During the loneliness and most home sick days of my 6 months traveling, Roseburg Inn in Roseburg, Oregon has provided me comfort. And extreme air conditioning cooling from the heat outdoors. Along with privacy and not banging on my door at 9am screaming "housekeeping". So if silence and privacy is something you crave in your travels, this is the best place. I will absolutely extend my stay if my car can not be fixed right away. Even of its $5 cheaper down the road. The staffs personality is the very reason why for me.The only flaw ... which does NOT fall on the hotel or staff ... the busy highway. If you can't handle street noise and will complain to the staff about it, don't do that to them. They can not control the sounds of outside. The sounds for me are not an issue. Just thought I would warn for the picky ones.Nearby activities: Walmart is 1.5 miles up the road. As is most other shops such as Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Fred Myers, and so much more.Noteworthy details: The staff is kind and friendly. Come in with a great attitude and be treated with the same.”

“The Rose City Motel is awash with flowers and hospitality and a bargain to boot. There’s a lovely back garden for sharing a bottle of wine and a kind owner-operator who’ll help you with whatever you need.”

“Will never book reservations at this place ever again ! They docked me for one night's stay for canceling 38 minutes beyond the cutoff even after respectfully requesting the penalty be waived. This is a prime example of poor customer service ?”

“The room and bathroom was clean. Breakfast was hot! Room had a weird musty smell, but opened the window while at dinner and that helped. Employees were friendly. Would stay again.”

“I reserved a room and on the same day I canceled because they wanted to charge me a $200 deposit. So I canceled my reservation. I was still charged $87 something for a room that I canceled. The front desk lady didn’t say anything about charging me for a room that I didn’t stay in. She was also really unprofessional and extremely rude. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy”

“Needs to be updated badly. No coffee maker, did have a refrigerator & a microwave, but the turn plate did not fit. The staff was nice. The bed was uncomfortable, the floors need a really good cleaning & the windows need screens. And there is no security lock (2nd do not disturb lock) on the door, very flimsy. Very musty & damp smell.”
