“Super clean place, very safe, easy to get in and out of, and very rarely so busy that I couldn’t access one of the bays. When I no longer needed the space, it was super easy to close my account, and everyone was so friendly! I’d definitely use extra space again.”
“Just moved in, but have been very happy so far. Incredibly clean and modern with noticeable cameras throughout. Though this area is traditionally a little rough around the edges, it's been cleaned up considerably and I have no problem storing stuff here. “This is the first time we’ve used storage. Very happy that we chose Extra Space Storage. The facility is clean and modern. Access is easy and it’s open from 6am to 10pm which is better than most places we looked at. Also Roger the manager was really great. He was friendly and professional. “Our company has been at ReadySpaces for years. Great space and location. While there has been some ups and downs, we are very satisfied with the new management that has taken over. Dawn is a great communicator and has done wonders with not only the interior, she has made the day to day life at the warehouse run smoother. It's an much older facility, so lighting and amenities are not what you'd get at a new Public Storage, for example. However, the pricing is by far the most affordable I've found in Portland. Plenty of street parking and a large loading dock.”

I've been here less than a year and just received my second notice of rent increase, started at $98 last Aug and now just over $150 for a 5x10. It's corporate greed for sure because the office workers have never given me problems.”

“This is the ABSOLUTELY BEST storage facility ANYWHERE! I will NEVER use another facility. I've had storage units with them for over 5 yrs now. The father & daughter that manage this place are heaven sent! There not like public storage (quick to auction off your belongings)! They know life happens.... & in my case, they were understanding & patient!!! The prices are great, the property is always clean, the location is great, the property is secure, & they do have a restroom on site. As well as live on site, which is a little more added security! I would strongly recommend them to any & everyone!”

I must say due to the snow and ice and the unfortunate weather event that led to the collaspe of a awning at my storage facility i was extremely upset and worried about my unit ready to pack up and hightail it outta there... but once again the amazing work of Debbie had calmed me down and i can't imagine how frustrating this has been for her and the rest of the team.... i once again will be staying with this amazing property and the amazing people that work here.... I just wanted to let everyone know... how amazing and awesome Debbie has and continues to be... as long as she is on the team you will always have my business!!!!!

“I've used Downtown Self Storage for several years now, including a move to a smaller space. I have been consistently impressed with the quality of security, the cleanliness of the building, but most of all the customer service. I'm in the process of moving out as I'm downsizing but even in my conversation with the front desk they suggested a date for me to move out to keep me from paying for another month...something I wouldn't have realized if they didn't say anything. Even when I moved spaces they worked out a way for me to have a financially sound process. :)
I previously used a storage space near Slabtown and while it was brand new it quickly degraded to a lack of attention to the property itself which amounted to trash being left behind and all sorts of other sketchy things. When I moved to Downtown Self Storage I was so impressed with how things were always monitored. I also used their U-Haul truck to move my stuff and that was also a really positive experience.
While I hope that I don't re-accumulate enough stuff to need storage again if I do I will absolutely use them again without hesitation.”
