“Cuttle Fish and Corals is a one stop reef aquarists dream. Pete helped me get my tank up and running. He was able to get me up to speed after fifteen years away from the hobby. He and all the crew there are knowledgeable about what can benefit your system. As I brought my system online I had a green hair algae bloom that was out of control. Pete pointed me to the hungriest of critters to help me control the bloom. I always know I'm getting the best answers when I shop here!”
“Aspen taught our Good Puppy class. They were knowledgeable, kind, patient, clear, and helped us improve on our training regimen. We have a wild one, and they were still excellent. The dog loved it as well, which doesn't hurt.”
“Went in here earlier just because and ended up loving their selection. They offer Open Farm Pet (my dog’s preferred food) and many other dog food brands! Couldn’t resist saying hi to Felix, the cat available for adoption right now, and grabbing a few treats to take home for our old boy Kershaw. ? ”

1616 NW Glisan St, Portland“A massive thank you to both Grim and Violet. They were wonderful to our pup. Our sweet pup loves to play and talk and people who don't know dogs well can be concerned by her. This is the first time I have seen our pup play with people other than my husband and I. It was absolutely refreshing to know in a crazy busy place like Portland that there are wonderful and kind individuals who do an amazing job at connecting with their customers. As a dog mom this absolutely warmed my heart that they both took the time to get to know our sweet puppygirl. Thank you so much for a splendid experience!”
“They have a great selection and the staff are really helpful and sincere. Use they/them pronouns unless they tell you otherwise, so very queer-friendly. They have gotten more expensive than a lot of the other small shops now though. Still glad to have them in the neighborhood and they have a larger backstock of full cases and toys than most small shops, plus they will do special orders. They do case discounts too”

6908 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy, Portland“1) Is this place slightly higher than others? Yes but it’s a great location and easy to access. (PS- It’s Raleigh Hills everything is expensive)2) Don’t listen to negative reviews because every person I’ve interacted with has been polite and helpful. Even helping me sign up for their rewards program.3) With a new puppy great selection of food and toys that I haven’t seen at other stores.”
“We love bringing our dog here! They even took a polaroid of him to put on the wall. They have a ton of great options for food and toys for dogs and cats, plus the staff is very helpful.”

A bit on the pricey side, so it's not an everyday experience. Definitely worth checking it out. The staff is kind & knowledgeable, great quality products. The stores are bright, well stocked and clean.”

8119 SE Stark St, Portland“Great service, smaller selection than some for sure, but they have just what I need and they will put in special orders. Special orders are the only thing they give case discounts on, though they do often give me five and ten dollar discounts after spending a certain amount (never asked).”

6333 S Macadam Ave #104, Portland“The people are always so sweet and helpful! The selection is great! My cat still plays with the nip toys from here (I recommend the pizza-shaped one) YEARS after I got it for her!”
“This place is fantastic. Cats are carnivores and love raw meat and this is one of the only pet shops around that not only understands that but makes the effort to stock it.”
“Smart, kind knowledgeable. I don't know that my dog would have survived me without their help. Especially with her food allergies. They made me a better dog mom!”
“Caye's Aquarium is my absolute favorite place to go to. The customer service is outstanding. They make you feel like family. Danielle and Jerry are extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help, even staying late for me. They are extremely generous, their prices are reasonable. They have educated me more than I could imagine. They gave me a free heater to compensate for a cracked aquarium lid that couldn't be replaced. If I could give them a gazillion stars, I would.”

1411 SE Stark St, Portland“What a great spot! My partner and I wanted to let the dogs blow off some steam this afternoon. We found the Good Dog and made an easy reservation. The location was easy to find with other interesting shops nearby. Eric helped us check in and showed us to the space. It's a open, rubber matted space that was clean and well lit. There was shelving that held an assortment of toys for Betty and Shoba to try out. They chased balls and played tug for 30 minutes, tongues were lolling and they drank bunches if water. We bought the toy Betty loved the most, a super bouncy cube with rounded corners. We can't wait to go back with friends!”

11830 NW Cedar Falls Dr, Portland“This place is super friendly and helpful with my new pup. They have alot of the essentials and being walking distance from my house makes it even better. I bring my dog in a couple times a week to meet other dogs and find new treats for our training.”
9:30AM - 6:30PM
12675A NW Cornell Rd, Portland“They have great guarantee if your pet doesn't like food or treats, so you don't have to stress out when you have picky pet(s).(& they will babysit your pet birds for $8 a day (per cage).)& lots of nice healthy foods - treats for a variety of animals (dog, cat, rabbit, bird, etc.) (If you plan on raising ducks, don't give the duck heads as treats (cause you will be training them it's okay to chew duck's heads...(like not training your kittens to kill birds with feather toys, use mouse toys & keep toys grounded/on ground vs in air, etc. .....), but if you won't be raising ducks (& your neighbors won't be raising ducks.....?) they all look like really nice yummy treats. That wolffish skin treat looks like it would brush teath as it's being chewed.)(Sometimes they have cats(?) - kittens for adoption) (It's really interesting (& cool) that the owl finches make kitten noises too.)”
10AM - 7:30PM
8112 SE 13th Ave Suite A-1, Portland“I came in looking for a backpack for a dog I’m watching who is a great hiker. The Mud Bay on NE Killingsworth didn’t have her size for the one on sale, so the manager called the Sellwood location to hold a small and medium for me. Picked both up, and then brought Pearl in to get fitted with one of the two backpacks again at the Killingsworth location. The young male employee was very patient with me and Pearl. I ended up keeping the small as well because I think it might fit a border collie who I also hike with. Got both backpacks at extremely low prices. Happy to have a Mud Bay not only in my Concordia neighborhood, but one that I can easily walk to.”
“I take my conure for nail trims they are very fast and good about it! They have a good selection of treats and toys. They also have a pretty good selection for birds!”
“Right down the road from us and so helpful.Even if they don't have the product you are looking for they will point you in the right direction.Good thing they have about everything we need though!”

8721 SE Foster Rd, Portland“It was a great experience! The man was super nice, and knows his stuff. You can tell he really cares and loves for the Koi fish. I will definitely come back to buy some more fish.”
“Friendly, local, FABULOUS selection, j'adorbs, great prices. What more could you ask for. This was my first time in but I will DEFINITELY be back ? review updated: same as usual! The only place I buy my dog's food unless we're out of town. Simply stellar business ??”
“Karina did a great job on my little PomChi, Arlo! We went in for basic groom-shampoo and blow dry, nail trim, ear cleaning and tooth brushing. He usually hates a bath and doesn't let me do most grooming but Karina handled him like a pro and was very kind and gentle. Huge bonus- he's hardly been shedding since!”
“A wide variety of fish and supplies, I live about a hour away but every couple weeks I always make time to just come and walk around with my girlfriend to look at the beautiful tanks. I also always get my aquatic plants from here!”
“Lola discovered the Filling Station many months ago on a walk and she’s never looked back. She knows the route and loves to go visit her friends for a snack. We love the selection and the ability to test and try different items. But mostly, we love how wonderful and helpful the staff have always been. Truly a neighborhood treasure.”
“The most charming pet store you’ll find - lovely owner and staff. Great assortment of thoughtfully sourced dog and cat items - from health to food to treats to beds and accessories of all kinds.”
8AM - 6:30PM
2680 NW Thurman St, Portland“This is an incredible clinic. Everyone's experiences with their pets caretakers is subjective but I find some of the negative reviews hard to believe. The staff here have always been kind and accommodating, even in cases where i've been overly cautious and have called multiple times a day. I've always received calls to check on the status of my dog when she's not feeling well, and I've never had to wait very long for appointments, even in urgent situations. Me and my pup are lucky to have them.”
10AM - 7PM
3340 SE Division St, Portland“Lots of cool toys and essentials for dogs here. It is pricey, but neat finds. Friendly staff. Clean store. Parking can be tricky. Be prepared to walk a short distance.”
“I got a free fish tank from a friend. So, I did as much research as I could on what I wanted to put in it, then was referred to these guys. I've had nothing but good interactions with the staff. Whom all seem to not just be knowledgeable be enthusiastic about the hobby. Plus, the plants there and at the sister store across the street are amazing. I had gone a few times to the wet spot beforehand. Which had more fish but also a lot more teenagers that couldn't really answer my questions.”
