βWe stopped in to What's New furniture for the first time last week and were so impressed by the selection of furniture and the prices and the friendly people working there! We had been looking for a few new pieces of furniture and they had exactly what we were looking for. We ended up getting a beautiful teak dining table, midcentury walnut dining chairs, and a beautiful grey blue sofa. The employees were absolutely wonderful, kind, and helpful and we were able to take advantage of the Memorial Day sale (thank you!!!!)! Our furniture was delivered so quickly and efficiently. It was truly such a great experience! Highly recommend!!!! :Dβ

βGreat selection at the Jantzen Beach store. Best part was the employee who helped us pick everything out. KAT was amazing. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Honestly we were lost and had no idea where to start. Then we found KAT who was able to ask the right questions and helped us find coordinating tiles for two bathrooms. We would have been there for hours but Kat made it painless and quick.β
βThe team at Brush and Trowel are very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. They are also almost unbelievably fast at completing and expediting orders. Being a contractor in Seattle, I have found I will get custom Plaster matches from them complete and In my hands faster than I can get custom paint matches at my local paint stores. I would highly recommend them to anyone!β
βWhat an awesome store, I love all the glass and copper lamps oh I need to get one soon. The store maybe not be huge but you still can get lost in here for hours just looking at every thing. And the staff was so cool very informativeβ

βI absolutely adore this shop. I stopped by for the second time in the past month (we just moved into a new place and I've been itching for plants) and every time we go, they are so incredibly friendly. I'm a little socially awkward so I'm not the best at asking questions, and they always know the right time to step in and help me decide on something or fill in a gap of knowledge. They even repot the plants for you if you also want a pot with your plant. Great selection and the plants are much better cared for (an cost less) than other boutique shops that I've walked into since moving to Portland. I love this place. :)β
βJon was really helpful and it was no pressure type of environment. He recommended a delivery service for us that was cheaper than the one they normally use so really appreciate that! Would recommend and will definitely come back next time we need furniture.β

βMy boyfriend purchased a Monstera Albo here for my birthday. It's the healthiest most beautiful Albo I've ever seen and she's grown 4 new leaves since June. Anyway, I finally demanded that he take me to the place where he purchased it and I'm so happy he did. There's so many rare and beautiful plants here. They're all well taken care of and the woman was very kind. I purchased a beautiful Pink Princess.β

βThis place is rad. We bring all of our friends and family here when they come to visit. It's always one stop amongst the Portland weird and it feels like a staple to us and our circle at this point.
There is a lot of taxidermy and that may not be up everyone's alley, but even so there is plenty of art adjacent or diagonal to that space that you just are not aware of.
They have partnered up with several artists that they have in that shop that do incredibly interesting things with their displays. I'm being cautious not to give you much away and being intentionally vague.
They also have geodes you can buy and break, other minerals, plants, and other gifts.
I think it's a very special place to visit.β
βA carefully curated and organized (and really beautiful) shop full of neat stuff. Focused on hardware, of course, but still one of the best antique shops I've been to.β

βLet me start by saying, Adam and John are amazing people. The shop is incredible. Fantastic quality work and excellent customer service. Also prices are very reasonable compared to other futon shops. Donβt listen to the bad reviews about not being able to put futon a together. It is sad to see you people leaving bad feedback for good business because they are unable to follow instructions and have 0 communication skills. Oh, and they feel somehow entitled too. Go get your rock soft futon from rock solid people. ???β

βLooked at a few places before I found this furniture store. Got a great couch in my budget. They delivered it the next day and they were very accommodating of my schedule. Viktor was super helpful. Would highly recommend them!β
βAn absolute gem in downtown Portland. A giftshop with work from local artists and small businesses that is also a record label. You can listen to all the local artists before you buy any records and there are a few worth exploring. In addition, the staff gave me some really good advice about activities in and around Portland. I returned several times. Their location at the airport also has local microbrews at decent prices (that the dowtown location did not have).β

βWorking with Pistils was one of the best experiences weβve ever had. My husband and I set out to do a mid-scale landscaping project and ended up stranded and in a law suit. Pistils stepped in and agreed to remedy the damage. Not only did they extremely skillfully and professionally right the wrong, but they managed to create something much more incredible, functional and beautiful than we could have managed. They were on site almost daily for about a year and we had not one bad interaction. In fact, they felt like good friends by the end. When we called attention to something, they were immediately attentive. Everything they did was with the utmost care, skill and craft. Cannot recommend more highly. This job became very large scale and expensive, and they not only saved our landscape but probably also our marriage! The wall below was all hand split and stacked.We love you Pistils!!β
