“Bought an ebike here today. Did a test ride a couple weeks ago. I especially appreciated being helped by female staff. They were very responsive & problem-solved outside of the box with me. The follow thru was phenomenal. Awesome experience!”
“Mark & Lewis have been a gem to work with. Sold me a delightful Pivot Firebird and some road wheels. Fair pricing, great passionate folks, and integrity (apparent in how they speak of others deemed competition).”
“Deciding to switch to e-bikes and having multiple brands, models and stores to choose from, my wife and I were lucky to eventually find and work with both Chase and Alex at this location.Extremely knowledgeable and patient with us, both of these guys took the time to answer all our questions and help us find the perfect bike for our needs. Before you make any final decisions, stop by and speak with either of these two professionals. They know their business and really care about you making the right decision.”
“The REI at Bridgeport recommend Fat Tire Farm when they told me they couldn't service my 19-year-old Giant Rainier's front suspension fork that was seeping oil.
Location & Parking:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Parking lot is in front of Fat Tire Farm; it's easy to locate and access. Safe neighborhood. As someone who lives 45 minutes away by car, this was a big plus!
Quality of Work:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Replaced the front fork, after determining that repair of the existing fork wasn't an option, for a price that seemed fair and reasonable. I felt very confident about the work being done.
Customer Service:
⭐⭐⭐
Separately, both the sales associate and the mechanic suggested I purchase a new bicycle. I also didn't appreciate being handed the old front fork back that was still seeping oil when I picked up the bike. Either recycle it for the customer or drain the oil and place it in a bag. Other than those two complaints, customer service was great.”
“I just randomly chose Bicycle Fitting Services to solve a few issues I was having with riding and my bike. Turns out Michael literely wrote the book on how to fit people to their bikes. I was there for a few hours, he was very detailed and thorough. He was pleasant, personable, and has many great stories from his long career in the industry. I can't recommend Bicycle Fitting Services enough!”

“I was so impressed with The E-bike Store! They are very intentional about which bikes they sell, only carrying the ones that have the best warranties and user friendly companies to work with. Andrew, who worked with us was amazing! I can’t remember ever talking with a more knowledgeable and personable sales person anywhere ever. He loves his job! He went with us to test drive several bikes over flat & bumpy streets and a little hill so we could put the different bikes through their paces. He gave us lots of tips and suggestions. He even recommended a place for lunch! If you go, ask for Andrew!”

9240 SE Woodstock Blvd, Portland“I recently went here looking for a bicycle and the employee’Matthew’ was very helpful! I had gone to a different bike shop right before and the person working there was dismissive and just walked away after telling them what I was looking for and their used bikes had rusty chains and bolts. NwPro’s used bikes were all in refurbished condition and the employees were very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful!”
“I’ve been here twice and still haven’t purchased anything, but both times I was treated extremely well. Super knowledgeable and very helpful folks.
This is a small business run for riders by riders. If you can’t get in touch with them right away — keep trying. They are worth tracking down and they deserve your local business.
Can’t wait to come back in to order my new bike tomorrow!”

“I found this place a few blocks from my house in SE PDX, and it's been great to live so close to the premier shop that sells, fixes, and upgrades specifically fixed gear / track bikes. I brought an old frame in that I have had since 2008, after my daily ride was stolen out of my building; and the guy there was super cool and helpful about selecting the right parts. Just a few days later, I picked up what seemed like a brand new ride, and it's been cherry to ride every day. Both the people working there were friendly and helpful, and they always have sludgy doom metal playing, which is nice. I'll definitely be back to Retrogression with my next bike build.”
“This shop was so accommodating with my schedule and unique shipping situation when I was in town and found a bike I wanted to get back home. They were also quick to answer all of my questions. I ended up buying a bike there and they had great insight and suggestions for care, fit, etc. Was very happy overall.”
“I ordered a tire from Specialized on April 9 and am still waiting on it. Supposedly will be here in Portland by April 18. Right now it is in Idaho. It's definitely taking its time. These days, that's slow, and I paid $9 for shipping. An overall negative experience buying from Specialized, especially since the website gives the impression that the wheels will be turning quicker than they are. It actually took 48 hours before Specialized even turned it over to FedEx. Two days to process an order.
I then ordered a tire from Bike Tires Direct and the next AM went to the warehouse and picked it up, hassle free. Or I could have had it delivered well before the tire from Spesh arrives, and for free.
Great service from BTD.”
“Small boutique bike shop. Brought my mountain and gravel bikes here for various repairs and servicing over the last several months. Great service every time. Lucky to have them in the neighborhood.”
