“Always love to shop at Trader Joe's. Good variety of grocery and merchandise with reasonable price. The only down side is the store gives you an intimate feeling when it's not busy, but extremely crowded when more people are in the store”

“If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I love this store. I will say I miss the ground chorizo that they used to make in the meat section, I wish they would start making it again. But I was able to get the butcher to make a special batch for me, which was super sweet of him. He deserves a raise!”

“I am a big fan of Winco. Anyplace that is employee owned will always be my first choice. The Winco bakery has always delivered when it comes to freshness and variety. They are always open and there is plenty of parking.”
“Everything about New Season is great – the service, the selection, and of course, their delicious pies! However, I have to mention an issue with their paper bags. While I appreciate the environmentally friendly approach, the handles are not strong enough to hold the weight of their pies. Unfortunately, the handle broke, and my pie ended up smashed on the ground, completely ruined. I really hope they can find a sturdier and equally eco-friendly solution for their bags in the future.”
“This grocery store specializes in odd lots. This way you usually get a fabulous price on top-shelf products, but they don't last long. It's definitely worth the hunt. I've had some wonderful dinners that I couldn't afford at a restaurant, made with components from Grocery Outlet.
The meat here is good, especially the lamb. The organic beef is always in good condition and consistent. They have had good cheeses, including goat cheese, brie, and grana padano.
Check it out, but don't get upset if they don't have the stuff you see at Walmart. You'll find better items here.”

“I had no idea there was an Asian market around Beaverton that specializes in Filipino goods. For a store of small size, U-Need has a lot of what one may need to make Asian food at home. I wanted to buy some Mirin at a cheaper price than what is offered at Fred Meyer's and easily got some here, along with instant Pancit Canton. They have a lot of good snacks worth checking out and prices are fair. Staff is friendly and helpful. I'll be back for more.”

Before I left town for my vacation back to Kansas City I stopped by and picked up some candy the clerk suggested. It was the best $30 I ever spent on candy.

?They wanted to know how I found Russian candy in Portland, Oregon. I was exploring the area on foot one day after going to the grocery store nearby, saw it, stopped and tried to get coffee to take home. They didn’t have any. And this was suggested. Thank you so much for that recommendation.
? I flew home and had the candy in my carry on bag. It did great. The shape held together. The humidity in Missouri is bad. The candy never melted. Not a great gift to present if the chocolate candy is melted.
? No one knows Russian so it was fun to watch people ask me what kind of candy they were holding. I did not know. So the adventure began. Unwrap candy, examine and then taste. Everyone was laughing.
?Who knew eating something you couldn’t read the label on, would be such a fun experience?
?Hazelnut was in some of the candy. I remember that being said a lot. The labels would be remembered then.
I would spend $30 on candy here again. It wasn’t just the people enjoying the candy, it was me watching how they reacted. And then it’s a unique memory, I don’t think anyone will regret.

I love that there is plenty of free parking here. I feel safe in the area. There are other things to do in the area- the zoo and Washington Park is only 15 minutes away.
The people that I have met going into the store are helpful. I don’t feel pressured to buy anything. And they don’t laugh when I ask questions I feel are silly. I won’t repeat.”

“I had to set aside some time to give this specific Grocery Outlet a review because it is hands down the best Grocery Outlet that have EVER been to and I have been going to Grocery Outlets throughout Oregon since I was a kid. I drive 25 minutes outside of Portland (passing countless other Grocery Outlets) for this one. I love the Grocery Outlet (in general) because of the deals, but this Grocery Outlet stands out because it is clean, organized, and in stock of everything that I like (organic/NON-GMO fruits and veggies, as well as countless plant-based items that you can’t find anywhere else throughout the store. “This is an interesting grocery store. They have some really good prices, but on some items you need to check the expiration date. It's pretty close on some products. Others are normal for the product in other stores. I always find something interesting that I have seen or found before. Today they had great prices on cherries, which I took advantage of. About 25% were past their prime. If you're willing to.sort, it was still a very good deal.”
