“Ash Creek has always been amazing for my family. Recently, my cat, Rhea, got her vaccines. She was acting very distant, very non-social, and was in pain. We realized her breathing was very rapid the day after her vaccines. I called around 4:10 pm to see if we could get advice, but they recommend us coming in. I came in shortly after, and Rhea had a 105.2 fever (106 is when organs start to fail for cats), so they gave her a shot to counteract her symptoms and an IV. A few hours later, she is completely normal and playing and being Rhea again. I am so grateful to have them around. Probably would have maybe had to take Rhea in for a Emergency Vet appointment or a died kitty ?. They've also done great with my parents' dog, Ryeka. She had a tumor(cancerous) on her nose. My parents have done research where dogs had the same tumor in the same place (and the Vets also said) that when she comes out of surgery, she may not look the same ever again. Luckily, the tumor wasn't so big, but they did an amazing job, and she looks completely the same! I honestly love this vet. They care for animals and take very good care of them. I've always been happy with them. They've taken care of my animals very well as well as my parents animals. I totally recommend this place”

“We couldn’t think of one thing. From Remi’s, our Springer, greeting at reception until we walked out the door. Shelby, out tech, was met with excitement and willingly followed her for exam. When Dr, Burraright came into the room Remi dashed to her. At the end while awaiting the final report, Victor an assistant we had had at several times took the time to stop in to say hello and tell us how well Remi behaved. How could anyone ask for more. BTW. Any health issues Remi has ever had has been cared for quickly, effectively and with care. Remi is our third dog to be cared for at Oak Hills Veterinary Clinic. The high care and compassion established by Dr Hilmer and Dr Smith continues with Dr Burraright. They chose wisely in who to pass the baton too.”

“Friendly people. Dr. Laws was great with my dog. They showed me how to clean my dogs ears. Got her bloodwork done, flew chew, ear cleaner, dry skin solution, her medicine for allergies and hyperthyroidism all for a really good price. Showed me estimates before treatment which is awesome means they are willing to work with your budget but still get your pet the treatment they need.”

“Dr. Brotherton and her team are wonderful. My dog, Geppetto, is very difficult. To say he's terrified of vet appointments is an understatement. He came to me at three years of age so I have no idea what happened to make him so fearful. Dr. Brotherton has gone out of her way to make it work for my dog and me and I am beyond thankful. Previous vets did a lot of shaming and blaming but not the case at all with Polk Vet Clinic. I recommend this clinic, Dr. Botherton and her staff highly.”

“I took my 14 year old dachshund to see Erika after dealing with arthritis flare ups. Our traditional vet had her on narcotics, muscle relaxers and steroid injections (that she hated) and she kept having these flare ups. Erika did a chiropractic adjustment on our first visit and put her on herbs and supplements, which she enjoys eating and she has not had a single flare up in the last 3 years. Now at 17, you can tell she is getting old but she still has bursts of puppy energy where she does her slow motion zoomies. We’re so thankful to have found Erika who helped bring back quality of life to this sweet old girl.”

“Dr. Fulmer is the best. He listens. Treats my dogs gently and is courteous. He is leaving the practice the end of December and I will miss him greatly as my vet. The practice is making a big mistake in letting him go. I have alway been treated fast and courteously but the staff and never waited more than 10 minutes for an appointment.”
