“My rating is not for the teaching or care the school provides. In fact, we truly wanted to experience the school. Rather my rating is due to their accounting and empathy. Before the height of Covid, we put ourself on the waiting list (this included first month plus registration costs which are not cheap). I was forbidden by my employer to return to the office for over 2 years. This school is 40+ minutes from our home so we informed them of the unforeseen circumstances and out of our control circumstances. I understand they have a business to run. But no opportunity for a refund, even a partial one hurt our family during an already trying time.”

“Education plays a crucial role in shaping a chid's future and dedicated educators make a significant impact. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the teachers and Management of ELM for the exceptional care and nurturing my daughter's growth both academically and Personally.”

“We sent our 1 1/2 year old and 4 year old here off and on over the years and they have always thrived and had a lot of fun. I would recommend to any one friend, or family.”

“We have been loving Tualatin Valley Academy. Our 2 kids both started in the public school system. By the end of 1st grade, with our first child, we decided to transfer him to TVA. It was a great decision for us, as a Christian family. We saw it's benefits beyond just education, our son was happy and blossomed. The teachers are exceptional and go above and beyond (far beyond what they are paid for)...which became even more evident during Covid. Paying for private school is a challenge, no denying it, sometimes painful on the budget BUT...we have found it well worth the cost. We decided to transfer our daughter, after she completed 1st grade at public school, as well. Last year was her first year at TVA. Even with dealing with Covid and all it's hoops and limitations, it did not disappoint and she too loved being in the christian environment and flourished. We are now committed to christian education and will make whatever sacrifices we can to keep our kids here at TVA, our neighborhood christian school. We would encourage any family considering it to go have a talk with the school and try it out. Don't judge a book by its cover. ?”

“A perfect spot for our family Winter Party. We even had occasional snow flurries. Our staff host, Cathy was very supportive/helped to make our clean up smooth. This is our second event at the River House.”

“We love knowledge beginnings. We have twins in the toddler class and one in the pre-k class. The teachers are great. The kids seem to have really bonded with them and are exicted to greet them in the morning. The administration is very personable. I think they run a tight ship, but the staff seem happy. Compared to other daycares, KB seems to have less turnover in teachers. The stability has been nice. The building is clean and toys/supplies are good quality. The outdoor space is awesome. We have had a great experience with them so far!”

“Good school, safe place, good connections with teachers and students. However, no school is perfect, personally I have experienced issued only originating through some staff member, overall better than most schools.”

“My son has been attending Hillsboro Kindercare for good 7 months, waited this long so that I provide honest feedback. Simply put, this is a fantastic place for young kids to be nurtured. This was my son’s first daycare, so he was crying, moody and wasn’t interested, fighting back…but the teachers were simply great, and super patient (shoutout to Ms Giselle and Ms Laura). My son was so attached to Ms Laura, it was at times tough for us to get him back home. Fundamentally, my kid, pre and post Kindercare daycare is a huge change on multiple levels, for which I’m grateful to the wonderful staff at Kindercare. Now in Toddler class, he is having even more fun, they are always creating art projects, pretty much on a daily basis, playing outside, socializing, etc. Ms Jackie and Ms April are fantastic too. They organize social events for parents once a quarter, which are fun and helps us to connect with other parents. To me, this institute looks very well run at a higher level by Ms Julie and Ms Lauren, which I believe is the reason both teachers and kids are happy. I highly recommend this place for your kiddo.”
