“I contacted Spencer at our local College Hunks location in Oregon City 7 weeks prior to our move, and he came over and gave us an estimate for what it would cost for our move on January 3rd.
We he arrived, I was VERY impressed with Spencer from the start. He was neat, clean and professional and polite. He was also very transparent, and explained the moving rules and regulations for Oregon as well as how and when their charging times stopped and started.
Spencer emailed me a detailed estimate of how long it would take to move our items and how much it would cost. I immediately paid the required 99.00 deposit to lock in Jan 3rd and we were all set.
On the day of the move Spencer and his crew, Levi and Connor arrived promptly at 8am and started hustling and hauling. No standing around and letting the grass grow under their feet for them, that's for certain.
While ours was not a big move, it was a heavy and awkward move, as there were mostly large and very heavy items with lots of stairs in both the leaving and arriving locations.
These guys were definitely up for the task and did not shrink from their responsibilities all while staying polite, cheerful and energetic, while treating our items with respect and care, and they were fun to work with. They completed the entire move in UNDER the estimated time.
If you find yourself in need of movers...even if it a smaller local move like ours, CALL COLLEGE HUNKS here in Oregon City...I promise you they are AWESOME, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

“Oh my goodness. We just got done moving and let me tell you, these guys were lifesavers! We have a one year old and I have a bad back. They did ALL the lifting and then some, even helping us pack some odds and ends. I have a lot of collectable dishware and they were very careful with everything.
I've worked with other movers in the past but I'll be sticking with this company for future moves. Friendly, hardworking, and best of all fast.

Nick was so understanding with the fact that we needed to push the time back slightly so we could get things in order. Though this area is traditionally a little rough around the edges, it's been cleaned up considerably and I have no problem storing stuff here. “Gentle John's is a wonderful company. We had a pleasant and smooth experience beginning with the intitial consultation with Andy over the phone to the amazing move of a heavy electric reclining couch and loveseat set from an apartment to our home by
Luis and Eduardo. These guys were prompt, careful, efficient, funny and friendly. They moved the new furniture into our home, put it together for us, (the backs had been removed) and assisted my husband in removing our old set. The old loveseat went into my husbands truck for the dump and the old couch went down to our barn. Luis and Eduardo even carried the couch into the barn for us. A pleasant day and experience working with this company and these two men. Gentle John's is also very reasonably priced in comparison to other moving companies as well.”
“We’ve been in our home 42 years. Too much high-maintenance property and increasingly too many stairs prompted us to list our house. 4 days later it had sold. NW Grace Movers was recommended to move our things to storage. Casey, Cody, and Andrew showed up precisely at the scheduled time. They did a quick survey of what had to be moved and then went to work. They worked with unity, practiced efficiency and careful handling. By the time the last piece was loaded on the truck Casey mentioned that we may need to rent an additional space. Not what we had anticipated. But through careful and creative stacking, shifting, and rearranging, everything fit perfectly. “These guys (2 employees seem to run the show) are awesome - you won’t get an almost new car like you would with the Big Boys but you’ll still get a reliable one.
Mine did have a decent size crack in the windshield but only had 50k mikes even though is was a few years old.
Good news is the Big Boys quoted me around 100 bucks a day but these guys only charged me 45! :) praying the lords blessing on them.”

“The management of Trojan storage helped us get a unit fast and hassle free.place is clean.and no bull going on around it.no People hitting you up for anything.are last public storage was a night mare.rude and non helpful employee's, camps right outside gate.trash inside and out in parking lot. And to top it of an employee broke into our unit and stole half the unit.they drilled out our lock 4 days early. Plus went into it because the lock they drilled out was left on a box half way into our unit.then put one of there locks on it.so talk about telling on themselves. So it's like night and day between theses two places. If you want your stuff safe and away from harm.stay away from public storage 117th. Thanks again Trojan for making this move so much easier. I got a trailer hitch installed on my van by Uhaul. The wiring ended up having an issue, so I came back to have it looked at. I did not have an appointment, but I needed it fixed asap. Justin went above and beyond to help me in a timely manner. This man is skilled, hard working, and dedicated to his job.
It's not just the install that I am happy with, it is the way that Justin handled the issue. He went out of his way to help me, even though I know it was an inconvenience. This is some quality customer service! Thanks again Justin!
