Sold my mother a Troy Bilt mower with a “2 year warranty” and it stopped after the first 6 months. Employee and Managers told us any motorized tool is not returnable or warrantied “once you put fuel in it” terrible attitude about helping. Too bad, can’t support local, gotta go big box.

We purchased cabinets, showers and toilets from Diamond. We went with the one contractor who they recommended as qualified and experienced to install their cabinets and showers. What a disaster!! Not only did we have to hire (and pay) another to fix this joke of a contractors work, but Diamond would take no responsibility by saying, "that issue is between you and the contractor". It is not like they recommended three and said make your pick; Richard said "this is your guy who does good work for us". We will never shop at this store again! It is one thing to stand by your products and someone who is supposedly qualified to install them, but another to not take responsibility, even partially when things go wrong!

Customer service was outstanding! Thank you so much, Laura. Even though the store was out of the wooden handles needed for my edger, she went way over and above to try to find one, as she did an inventory check which showed there were 2 in-stock.She was quick, helpful and friendly.

I went in looking for some hardware for my little project at home and needed help. I went to the desk in the front and a young kid named Matt helped me out. He was super friendly and super helpful. I will be back for sure.

The service is no good, the prices are outrageouse, the aisles are all over the place and completly disorganized and the prices are way to high; finally, the people who work there Stereotype their customers instead of welcoming them in we get shook down.BEING ACCUSED OF STEALING! HOW EMBARESSING. ALL BECAUSE I USED THE RESTROOM!I walk in the GP store around 7:30 AM on Wednesday to buy a set of metric and standard size wrenches. I started to do the potty dance asked the front desk clerk where is the rest room? I use the restroom and walk back up front to finish buying wrenches. I Get confronted by a male employee and he asks what is in my front hoodie pocket. I take out a bottle and tell him juice that's it. I said why.? He then proceeded to ask me if i had any other (merchandise) on my person. I said i have no merchandise yet. Why are you doing this to me? I've done nothing. I come in here atleast once a week in the morning and buy something. I was hurt and embarrassed. The employee said it's because i used the restroom and had a bulge in my pocket. He Stereotyped me and thought i was there to steal. WRONG. I told him I'm not buying wrenches from here no more and walked out.All in all the worst embarrassing experience I've had ever gone through and or hopefully have to go through.

I placed an order over the phone to have 2k dollars worth of lumber delivered to my house. Upon placing the order I said please this is very inportant I would like the wood to be looked through to make sure its not cracked or rotted. The girl who did the order said she was a manager and was putting it on there. I kept stressing I dont want to pay to have wood delivered that isnt looked over. She promised me multiple times they will do that before its sent out. Of course what happens? They just send out a factory sealed pallot with loose boards on top. About 30-40 percent of the whole pallot had literally cracked or rotted boards. I hate when Im lied to like that. I feel like I should not have to pay for boards that look like a rat chewed through them.

False Advertising. this store is NOT open until 8PM, not by far. it closes at 7PM. what did the obnoxious millennial say was his excuse for incorrect advertising on the internet? "Those are summer hours, Boss."obnoxious punk. learn some manners. and fix your false advertising on Google. then try again.

Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience at Diamond and it is not our first one. We were eating next door at the Thai restaurant (very good, by the way) and needed a few things so went to Diamond. They had the "Bucket Sale" advertised. If it fits in a bucket, you get 15% off. Great. Went through, got things we didn't need and checked out. Cashier asked if we wanted to buy the bucket, we did not, rang us up and we left. On the way to the car, I looked at our receipt- no 15% off. Went back in, they said you have to trade in a bucket or buy a bucket to get the 15% off. Ok. That isn't said or advertised, but whatever. Manager is called, said "You are the first people in 15 years to not understand that you have to bring in a bucket or buy a bucket, but ok, we will give you the 15% off" I'm a pretty chill person (the person I was with was not) but if the manager is going to be condescending than I'm not going to patronize. Manager continues to make his own little scene, making a big deal when others bring in their buckets saying, "See, you bring in a bucket, you get a bucket." Not sure how Grant has had this job for 15 years, but maybe the dude needs a vacation. Won't be going back, and will be telling others to shop at Farmer's or Fields for GOOD customer service. This dude does not represent your store well at all.
