Where do I start,without a doubt the worse place I've ever been for customer service and the worse manager and lil greasy assistant manager I have ever dealt with and there is a reason why home depot is always busy and you wonder if diamond even is open,I have traveled the United States doing construction and have been in more home improvement places than I care to admit and I have had some bad experiences in about one and that's Diamond.I have never dealt more incompetent lying sleeze bags in my life that is why today a salesman with 47 years in building walked along with his rite hand man walked today because they couldn't stand the trash that surrounded them ,avoid this place

I picked up an online order today at the Grants Pass store, and once again was reminded why I always shop at Diamond.
My customer service was above and beyond my expectations. Damien was knowledgeable, kind and loaded the heavy box into my car.
I have never had a bad experience shopping at Diamond or had to hunt down help there in frustration! Love this store ?

Every single time we go in, we leave happy. Other half loves their plants, friendly staff and management always up to help with any issue. Staff is always friendly even when we have a problem or return. This is hands down the best place to buy great quality paint! We are always turning around and “seeing” staff ready to help.

Great store if they have what you need. Worst website ever, impossible to check stock and availability. Other bad reviews for the same reason but the owner does not reply to those??
Soooo much lost potential due to an ancient website.

I gave them a two star, because I do like shopping there. However, they have a horrible website that is useless to check to see if they have what I need available. Diamond looses so much business to the Home Depot because of this.
Try a test if you don't believe me, google Diamond and select the Grants Pass store. It sends you to Klamath automatically, then you need to change the store. On the Diamond search bar, type in 2x10x8, a common lumber size. What you see doesn't make any sense, and typically just says not available. Try typing that in at the Home depot, and it tells me all the different choices available and how many are in stock.
If I only need a box of nails, Diamond is great, but if I need 100 2x10x8 DF boards, I like to compare prices and without driving to different stores. Try it yourself Diamond Management, see what your customers see. I am only wasting time posting this because I truly believe in shopping locally, and would use Diamond over Home Depot every time if they could come up with a useable website to check prices and availability.
I think the website was written with very limited product descriptions that only an employee would know the terminology needed to actually find the product. Home Depot understands that consumers may not know the exact terminology, so they just show you everything close to what you are searching for. Makes life really easy.
Additionally, the employees lack the knowledge when you do call to check on availability to figure out their own system, due to the reasons stated above. You can't just ask "do you have 4x8x11/32 OSB?" They have no clue what you are talking about, and they cannot just type that in and see results, because your system does not have it listed that way. So they transfer you to different departments until you finally find someone who knows what that is, and they go outside and look to see how many are in stock.
Invest in a consumer user friendly website that helps instead of hindering your customers, the payback will be well worth the investment. Your employees will also benefit by being able to answer customer questions without the unique identifiers needed to actually find common commodities.

They have a very good selection of of building materials, paint, tools , power tools, landscaping tools and their bulk bens have the best selection that I’ve ever seen.

It's a good store that is never too busy with prices that beat other hardware stores of similar size. Their website is out of date by decades. I would spend substantially more money with them if I could look at their site and find products. The search inventory function is available but very few products pull up.

Sold my mother a Troy Bilt mower with a “2 year warranty” and it stopped after the first 6 months. Employee and Managers told us any motorized tool is not returnable or warrantied “once you put fuel in it” terrible attitude about helping. Too bad, can’t support local, gotta go big box.

We purchased cabinets, showers and toilets from Diamond. We went with the one contractor who they recommended as qualified and experienced to install their cabinets and showers. What a disaster!! Not only did we have to hire (and pay) another to fix this joke of a contractors work, but Diamond would take no responsibility by saying, "that issue is between you and the contractor". It is not like they recommended three and said make your pick; Richard said "this is your guy who does good work for us". We will never shop at this store again! It is one thing to stand by your products and someone who is supposedly qualified to install them, but another to not take responsibility, even partially when things go wrong!

Customer service was outstanding! Thank you so much, Laura. Even though the store was out of the wooden handles needed for my edger, she went way over and above to try to find one, as she did an inventory check which showed there were 2 in-stock.She was quick, helpful and friendly.
