Windows Booksellers is a unique used bookstore in Eugene, Oregon that specializes in academic books on theology, biblical studies, archaeology, philosophy, and related disciplines. As primarily a mail-order business, they use a warehouse organizational system rather than a traditional bookstore layout, so it's recommended to call or email ahead to get guidance on navigating the store. Customers describe Windows as an "interesting gem" and a "magical" find for those with niche academic interests. The inventory is organized by a numbering system, which can feel "super random" when browsing, but the staff are helpful in locating specific titles. Reviewers have been impressed by the breadth of the selection, including hard-to-find authors and texts in the original Greek, Hebrew, and Latin. Though the store is located in a basement with no actual windows, it is filled with "hidden treasures" and "treasure troves" for theology and religious studies enthusiasts. One customer has been visiting weekly since discovering the store and doesn't plan to stop anytime soon.

My favorite browse in Eugene! So many hidden treasures from College Libraries and Private Collections. Definitely worth stopping by and getting lost in the stacks for an hour… or 5.
