“Sadly not had to lay my mare to rest yesterday. Tina and my other horses, have been under the care of Dr. Paul Duff for over 5 years. Columbia Equine Vets have cared for our horses for over 25 years. Every vet from Columbia has been excellent.
However, Dr Duff has been extraordinary.
He is knowledgeable, communicative, gentle, compassionate, talented and has such a rapport with horses. He made my worse day better by reassuring me that we were doing the right thing at the right time. As my mare dropped down, her head was in Paul’s lap. He stroked her and talked calmly to her until her last breath. I love that man!

“My cat gets scared at the vet and hides under a jacket or inside the hoodie I’m wearing. My last visit I was sitting on the floor when the vet came in. Instead of asking me to put him on the table, she sat on the floor with me to do the exam.
Cant tell you how much I appreciated that. Made my cat so much more comfortable in an already scary situation for him and the vet showed so much compassion for him. Thank you Dr. Sullivan!!!”

Our dog had cancer and they did surgery to remove it, two years so far and no recurrence. Had a 9 inch incision with 36 staples across from one hip to the other. Pretty traumatic for a 12 pound dog. They took great care of her.”
“Dr. Hill is a great vet and we appreciate and trust his guidance in the health of our elderly pup. When it came time for us to let her go, the entire staff was extremely respectful and allowed us the time we needed to say goodbye. When the procedure was being done, Dr Hill explained everything that was occurring and even apologized and thanked our pup while giving her the final shot. I can't imagine taking her to anyone else and we are very thankful for all the time they spent supporting Chimi and her pet anxiety suffering parents... I am sure we were quite the handful. “Dr. Dykehouse, along with all of the staff that he has working for him, including his wife, Jill, have been absolutely wonderful to us, and our kitties. I started seeing Dr. Dykehouse when my oldest son was 1 year old. My son is now 32! This wonderful Dr. has taken care of all of the cats we have had. We had 5 cats at one time, and they lived to be about 18 years old. Right now, I still have one of these 5 kitties, and he is now almost 24 years old!!!!! He is still happy and healthy, because of Argay Cat Clinic.”
“I took my sweet frenchie Maximus here early Sunday morning, they were so sweet and kind and said he had a pain response in his hind legs which was actually good news with IVDD. Their neuro wasn't in so they referred us to a nearby clinic who talked doom and gloom From the very first doctor we saw. They said Max had no pain response, we explained that he had been given pain meds at VCA but they didn't want to hear it. The second clinic didn't MRI max for almost 12 hours then called to say there was nothing they could do. We lost him that night and are completely broken. I wish we could have stayed at VCA.”

“We have four pugs and started transitioning our kids to Pioneer about a year ago and we could not be happier. They really take the time to listen to what we are observing in our dogs, they are always willing to let us add some care for our dogs that is not what I would consider the norm. We take our old man who is severely arthritic and has seizures to another vet for acupuncture and laser treatments. The only downside for us is that we live in Beaverton and the commute can be a little pain in the bum every now and again, but with the quality care and peace of mind we get...it's worth it!!”
