“Hi, I left a review but I hit enter before getting to say the good stuff and I feel bad about that I am so sorry! :(I just wanted to say that Ashley called me today and was very helpful! I left a comment on what I do think needs changed tho such as prices keep going up on medications (flea & tick meds, etc..) & this is tough on many pet owners these days w/the recession/ inflation, everything is so expensive & everyone keeps passing the buck, etc -everything just keeps getting more costly & I’m not talking just animal meds, I’m talking everything so I do get it why they hv to charge us more! It’s really Big Pharma-They are to blame! I’m sure of it! Just stinks we little people get charged all this money we can’t afford! But anywayZ, Ashley, from Good Neighbor Vet just called me back and gave me some referrals plus the numbers as well, & I really appreciated that! She was kind enough to hear me out about everything so Thank You! You guys are amazing with many, things and always been good with my/our pet!I’ve been grateful to have had you to go to for getting my girl Gracie’s shots, exams, etc!Y’all made and do make that part very simple … and it’s helpful having the Mobile Vet Clinic to go to! I appreciate that!I like it BEST when it is mobile, bc when I realized the mobile vet of yours moved into Coastal, I sat outside waiting & wondering where it was at~??I even called to check, but my 2nd call wasn’t answered that day until later on -after I already found out-(The first call from home didn’t mention inside just that GNV was there until 5PM.I finally asked someone & they pointed to a sign that was really small & said that mobile vet moved inside. Unless up front, I would not have been able to see it!? It was 4:47 PM at that time and you closed at 5:00 so when I went in the store workers told me you were already closing up and another lady that worked for GNV was walking out of store same time… a worker from coastal pointed her out to me, so I approached her and asked if I could get my flea meds bc it was still before 5:00 PM & she told me everything had already been put away & that I’d have to come back another day. I was frustrated bc I had just fought a lot of traffic to get there (I was buying flea meds for my mini-schnauzer) but couldn’t even get them and it was before 5:00 PM. So, I suggest~>>>>IF ~> you are “closing” at 4:45PM,you best change your hours on the website and put a MUCH BIGGER SIGN OUTSIDE.that everyone can see... bc I didn’t even see it until another man pointed it out to me.. (maybe I’m blind I dunno?) but I didn’t even notice it nor did I know to look for it. With that being said, When they say,“Check The WEBSITE”… you best check the website for updates. Had I probably done that, I wouldn’t have been so upset. Now, I did CALL from home, and the lady said they were open until 5:00 PM but never mentioned inside the store. I got there about 4:10-4:15PM and just waited thinking they parked the Mobile somewhere else? I was very confused.Anyways, I didn’t know they were moving inside the store and I didn’t get any notice of this information in my email, so? I thought it was best I let others know this in case it’s been awhile since you’ve been there.~Although ->all in all I’m grateful they ARE available for shots and light physicals …flea meds, etc but now I have to find another Veterinarian for all the other things my dog needs. (To be Spade, X-rays, full physical, anti anxiety medication, etc)You guys are great for SHOTS, regular check ups, & flea meds. micro-chip & referrals!I’m truly GRATEFUL to have you for these things PLUS-hours & locations are good! I’m grateful for the good customer service & also for being able to get Gracie microchipped! I also love that you guys always get back to us pretty quickly!! Thank you for that!I’ll definitely ? keep recommending you to friends and family members ~Thanks for reading! S.L. Of South Auburn, Washington (For Miss Gracie-Grace aka Miss Gracie May) :-)”

“I love this bunch! I have a totally different opinion then some of these reviews. I will admit when I first met Doc Hughes I wasn't sure, he seemed almost too serious! We got to know him and while he isnt the throw a party because we showed up kind of guy he is totally competent and a pleasure to deal with. He is absolutely hands down the vet I am most comfortable with in all my 64 years and numerous dogs. He never fails to explain things to me in a way I understand (medical moron that I am), and has my dog Luna's best interests at heart and I feel it every time we visit. Luna is happy with him as well, a good sign!My last dog Shadow had Congestive Heart Failure and the vet I was using did not diagnose her properly. Doc Hughes did and recommend an amazing Cardiologist for her, and I am convinced those 2 helped to keep Shadow alive for almost 15 years. Her heart was bad but thanks to them she lived well to her last day.David and all the staff, are caring kind people and I have no desire to go anywhere else.”

“I get my doggo's nails done here and he is always very scared. The girls do such a fantastic job reassuring him and stopping to give him a cuddle if he's getting upset. They have such a calming effect even for the moms!! Highly recommend!!”

“Does anyone else find that most veterinary clinics in Portland are going to pot?VCA is a diamond in the rough. A fraction of the price of most clinics in Portland with better service.People here seem to actually enjoy their job and care about your pets wellbeing. The one and only downside is that they are always busy (I assume because everyone is transferring to this vet lately.) You have to chedule well in advance for regular appointments and there's only a slim chance they'll have space for an emergency visit.”

“I took 1 of my feral cats to companion pet clinic and was treated GREAT. They were efficient and listened to me when I was ranting about people abandoning their pets. Help me out with the affordable billing and the cat is getting better ?”

“I was able to set an appointment right away and explain to the team members about my dogs aggressive behavior. When I arrived the staff was ready. There was no waiting out in the lobby. We were put in the room right away . Everything was ready to go from the vaccine .to the extra help needed. to get the necessary blood drawn . The staff was great in the handling procedures of my pet. They listened to me on what was the best approach for my pet. We were able to get everything done very quickly . Which is less stress for my dog. We started my GSD on the new Librela medication for hip dysplasia. It is working very well. My dog seems more like her old self wanting to go outside and even playing fetch. I'am very happy.”
