“Helped a friend get a new battery. An old gas station on the corner, easy to get to, rather cramped entrance to the garage. Dude was kinda strict about people being in the garage itself, but good service.”
“I tecently went in to the Hawthorne location (without an appointment) to fix a reverse (back-up) light issue on my VW Passat. Other shops wanted to charge me a lot of money just to diagnose the problem! The guys at ABE quickly put my car in the service bay, found the problem and corrected it for a very reasonable fee, and it only took about 45 min. Everyone who works here is polite, focused and super-knowledgeable. Personally, I don't think it's worth shopping around when the best service is right here in SE Portland”

“I left work and quickly discovered I had little to no brakes on my car. This was the closest O'Reilly's and I had no idea it wasn't a normal retail location. Alex helped me, and to say that he went above and beyond is an understatement. He came out to my car, identified the problem, then looked up the part. They didn't have it, so he tried looking at other Jeeps with the same engine. Still no luck. Then he went in the back and found a part that's identical to what I needed but for another car altogether! He was not only helpful but friendly as well, and they never made me feel like I was putting them out to help me. Thank you Alex.”

“I was trying to get home to Seattle and my car started riding rough and I pulled into this O'Reilly's and Cleetus spent over 2 hours trying to diagnose with the check engine light diagnostic test and helped me put in spark plugs, tried an O2 Sensor and a coil pack...it did ease some of the symptoms, enough for me to get home and get it to my mechanic! I am extremely grateful for his knowledge, willingness to help and patience to ensure I could get home! If you want above and beyond customer service and expertise, stop by this O'Reilly's!”

“Looking for a rear differential mount, I had foolishly gone to Autozone because it was a bit closer. They had no idea what I was talking about and kept showing me pictures of other things implying I was describing it wrong so I walked out. O’reilly knew immediately what it was and it was labeled exactly how I described it. They even had two different ones to choose from and I was done with my project within an hour!”
