“This is one of the best places to go if you are a person who likes going out like hunting, fishing, hiking, camping.. For me, it's like a kid in a candy store. Items varies from clothings, shoes, to activity stuff, outside cooking items, tents and so fort. It give you great ideas for gifts too.Customer service was not friendly, not they were impolite but maybe they had a bad day or. The store is huge, and will end up spending a lot of time here, but if you don't find the right stuff by yourself then may need help.”

“Received amazing customer yesterday when visiting the store.Morgan was beyong helpful when she found out my discounted coupon I had need to price check items to see the various discounts associated as they differed. I felt like I had a personal shopper as she followed me around scanning anything of interest to reveal the discounted price. Without hestitaion or a hint of annoyance. In fact she even suggest items that would have a larger discount with certain brands etc.This was beyond helpful and went way out of her way to help.As I was cashing out. The girl at the register, was again amazingly friendly and considerate. After waiting no more than a minute to cash out she aplogized prefusely for the wait. She was also dealing with a few customer inquiries and still being very attentive, and friendly to me, as she was the only one on cash and multi-tasking. They had run out of bags and again apologized and tried to fold my clothes as small as posissble so it was easier to carry. It really made a difference, and totally forgot about the inconvenience. These young ladies were both top notch in customer service and really made my shopping experience welcoming and enjoyable!”

The pricing is fair and I appreciated that it was "all in" (table, accessories, delivery and set up) so I didn't have to worry about forgetting to account for any aspect of the cost. We didn't wait long for delivery. In fact, we could have got it sooner than we chose to.The guys who did the install were fantastic; friendly, respectful of the home, answered all our questions and gave tips for care. They took great care in the set up and got it perfectly installed. They're very professional and very competent. We made the right choice to go with Family Recreational.”

“Very fair and reasonable rates. Any time I've gone in they've done their level best to help. For one of my kids bikes (CDN tire) they were honest about the repair vs value. I didn't see it as a ploy to sell just truth bc the issue was a plastic part (you get what you pay for). They did refer me to a guy who fixes bikes as a home biz as maybe he could help which he did get us through the last month of the riding season. The main fellow at Thornton's is older and comes off a bit grumpy but honestly isn't,,just his style I guess. Either way I highly recommend this business. Honest real people!”
