“I'm 73, riding a bike I built with chiropractic features, as a long distance bike-hiker. With three broken spokes in the back rim, I looked online for the first time to find a store, seeing Niagara Falls by the City Hall, an almost two hour ride. I broke two more spokes, bending the rim, having to walk the last couple miles. The store was in shambles, not the original owners with 40 years of customer satisfaction. I was taken to a back room when a back door was hit, and a drug deal followed. There were no 28" tires or tubes, and I phoned first. I was standing outside, feeling really down and lost, being in Niagara Falls with a bike I can't ride. A female cab driver said hi as I walked by so I asked her if she knew a bike store. She searched on a device and said Ski and Cycle. She said if I didn't have my bike she'd give me a ride for free. We talked a little. I walked to Ski and Cycle and they were open, only because they were open to six, when other bike stores closed at four. I didn't expect such a wonderful good time, being there while it was repaired. Parts were reused, so I didn't have to pay for everything, saving over $50. I learned a lot about modern bikes. That's the best. And they turned down my offers of going for tea or coffee. However, I am a Scot. I think the "and" in Ski and Cycle should be an ampersand, "Ski & Cycle", a little closer together. It's got curves like a race course and ski jump, nice, and space and effort saving. Just saying, for the owner.”
