When I started at Nikao I was 30 lbs overweight and had an injury that took me out of the gym for several years. These guys basically held my hand while teaching proper form and helping me develop the core strength to recover from my injuries. I can’t tell you how thankful I am to be able to move again. I feel great. Do yourself a favor and go see Trevor at Nikao.

I started at Nikao about a year ago and was 30 lbs overweight and had the flexibility of a 90 year old. Now I possess the body of a Greek God and have the flexibility of an Olympic gymnast. Trevor and his staff will take their time to achieve your fitness goals injury free. BTW they are also great at rehab training, I had a previous shoulder injury and I’m feeling better than ever.Disclaimer: Greek God and gymnast claims might have been exaggerated

Trevor is a fantastic trainer! He takes the time to understand each client and their individual needs. I injured my shoulder several years ago. After completing a physical therapy program, Trevor helped me to get my mobility and strength back. I am now able to move (and do pull ups!) without pain! Thanks Trevor!

The trainer has so much knowledge and makes sure your using the right form on excercises and explains why. He is patient and encouraging for every fitness level. The gym is extremely clean and the community of people are wonderful! I highly recommend Nikao strength crossfit!

I have tried numerous group classes and hated them all! But the moment I step into Nikao’s, I instantly felt welcomed, Individualized and important. Even though this is a group class/setting, Trevor takes the time to individualize the exercises to my specific needs. I don’t feel invisible here which is what I’d normally feel in group settings. I recommend this place 10 times over!!!

LOVE THIS PLACE!! I'm a heavy tall person that moves like a one legged dog on tranquilizers, and a personality that has been embarrassing me since about birth. I was a bit apprehensive at first about going since the only shape I currently in is the ROUND shape!?!?!! It's a true judgment free environment for anyone no matter what level you're starting at.! I have been attending classes for about 2 months and have never felt that I was at a place I did not belong. In fact I am starting to realize that I am were I NEED to be! Travis knows what he's doing and he helps you understand why you're doing it. I have improved more with his help in one hour a day than I did spending 2-3 hrs playing with weight equipment at a gym. Travis has helped me understand that I would get stronger with how I had been doing my workout, but I was really taking a chance at having joints/ back problem in the future. I have learned how important it is to make sure your workout "form" is correct to prevent future injuries. . When I think about how I use to work out I feel really d**** I use to walk around the gym looking at pictures on the equipment trying to figure out what I wanted to workout next. Then when I would workout I was either working with really bad form, or spending way to much time walking around confused about what I was doing. With Nikao all my workouts are pre-planned so the only time I feel d**** is when I have to ask a "secound time" for an explanation of what we're doing. I use to try to go to the gym about every day. I also liked to have someone come with me for extra support. I found that trying to find someone to workout with me could be a challenge. Usually someone would at least say to me "I want to go". The problem is when it was time to actually "go" work out. (They always had an excuse not to go) When I could get someone to join me they would complain, wanting leave TOO early, or just talk with very little effort into an actual workout. Since I have been going to Nikao the people that I have been working along side. Act like they want to workout, give/receive support during the workout, and try to have fun doing it. Which has been a big change from my feeling of an hour wasted convincing someone to come, waiting 30min to find that person has “flaked outâ€, or 2 hrs talking at a gym instead of doing what i came to do. You have a better chance to succeed at Nikao with support from like-minded people, than no support from a person you had to "beg" to workout with you. The overall experience you receive can help you become the person you may have been, or the person you know you can be. I would also recommend you at least come more than once before you make a real decision! Everyday is different and it's always a different experience. Now these are my feeling, opinions, and rants! If you want to develop you really your own feeling, opinions, and/or rants… (before you judge mine) you should join us at least one time. Especially if the first one is FREE!!

Trevor is the best! He makes sure your form is right so you don't injure yourself and is great at motivating you when all you want to do is collapse on the floor! So glad my friend's Katie and Anna invited me to their class!
