“Ricardo and Jose moved a lot of very heavy stuff into our moving trailers pretty much non-stop for 5 hours. The pricing was reasonable. When paying, there was some type of transportation charge that wasn't disclosed when I first got a quote. Wouldn't have been a deal breaker but should be more transparent. But again, they did a great job moving very heavy stuff on a very hot day. Would definitely use again.”

“Julian, Chewy and Tommy made it to my apartment round 1100 and we're done by 1330. I had a decent amount of small items but they didn't seem like they were in a crazy rush which is great, they focused on packing up right the first time. They made a great effort to show care with my household goods and ensuring me as a customer that my items were Not only itemized, but thoroughly inspected, and where and how they are shipped. They even put items that I considered high value away in their high value storage, which I really appreciate because I feel like any other moving company would have just looked them over, but they are important to me (and expensive). I appreciate their service so much, they made my first move stress free.”
“We planned a move from Redlands, California to Yukon Oklahoma on August 29th 2025. From prior discussions I knew that our bill was $6101 for the entire trailer space.
I had been in discussions with UPack ABF to have a 27 foot trailer dropped curbside adjacent to our apartment complex between 12 noon and 2 pm for a drop off time. The reason being that was the only time of the day that spot was consistently vacant. It cost us $75 which was well spent as Jose from UPack ABF dropped the Hitachi trailer off right on schedule. This was the afternoon of the 27th. The next day it took a 4 man crew 7 1/2 hours to load up our stuff and just as they were completing the load up, I texted UPack that that the truck could be picked up on the morning of August 29th. I should mention that during the day they send text messages inquiring about the status of your load up and when to pick up the trailer.
So after the crew finished loading up, we stood up the 2 plywood sections that make up the bulkhead that separate your cargo from other potential customers. We had a difficult time securing the ratcheting locking mechanism, so I called Jose (Thanks again Jose) after the movers had left and he told his friend Alexas that we would need help getting the bulkhead secured for the security of our stuff. So Alexas called and said that he would take care of it which he did, (thanks Alexas). I should mention that the trailer came locked with a company lock which Jose took with him when he left. I put a heavy duty padlock on the hasp and gave a key to Jose which he passed on to Alexas. So all went well.
So the inside of the trailer is marked with a footage rule that they use to gauge the amount of space that you will be billed for, I don't remember the exact figure but it was in the range of $4650 ( our entire load weighed in at just over 8000 lbs.) which was a pleasant surprise. So what UPack does is they find another customer with freight going to the same destination that will fill up the rest of the space at the the back of the trailer. Our truck ended up going to Dallas and then up to Oklahoma.
We arrived in Yukon Oklahoma September 1/25 and I thing the trailer was dropped off on the 15th per our choice as we had to get another 4 man crew lined up to unload.
A real friendly Oklahoman named Eddie, I'm pretty sure that was his name dropped off the trailer, backing it into our driveway, we had it unloaded the next day and it was picked up the following day.
Now throughout the move UPack managers from the Oklahoma depot were in communication to assist us getting the drop off and potential pick up date sorted out. They are an excellent company to deal with and Heather and I highly recommend them.”
“We recently contacted Fowler Orf to help with our moving needs. Kenny Orf contacted me directly and scheduled 3 movers to assist for 3 hours. We had furniture in 3 locations and they were excellent with pick up, delivery and careful installation and placement of all the items from the truck into the house. Very friendly, experienced team! “After reading reviews about Holton Transfer and with reviews being either wholly negative or positive, I had some trepidation about what our experience was going to be. Fortunately my worries were for naught. We ordered an adjustable bed from Costco and the bed was delivered to Holton Transfer from Lodeso shipping. While I did have to obtain Holton Transfer contact info via Southbay International, I had no trouble getting through via phone and Ray was professional and courteous when we spoke to schedule the delivery and was informed of the delivery team that would be bringing the bed. The delivery was scheduled for 1st thing this morning and I received a call from Jason to let me know they were 20 minutes out and they arrived right on the dot! Both Ray and Jason quickly removed our old bed (my husband and I had disassembled the bed) and as soon as it was out they quickly set up our new bed. The guys showed me how to operate the remotes for the bed, made sure everything was functioning properly and removed all packing debris. There was no damage to our home or the new bed. Our experience was top notch so I would definitely use Holton Transfer in the future.”
