“We had a house fire on Christmas morning and due to the holidays our insurance had trouble setting us up in a hotel with 3 people and 3 dogs. Nobody was able to take us in, but Hampton Inn said they would. It was a Godsend. They not only accommodated us with great service, but exceeded our expectations: a spotless hotel, remodeled rooms, friendly service, hot breakfast, addictive coffee, perfect location (QuikTrip, McDonalds, and Shiloh's Restaurant next door) and comfortable beds.It was a great experience for a immensely stressful situation. We appreciate Susan, the GM, housekeeping, the sweet cook who treated me like family, everyone at the front desk and even the guests made us feel like we were at home.Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.The Walters Family”

“This hotel is top notch. Clean, pool is warm and clean, The best part of our stay was hands down the breakfast. Made fresh each day with a good selection of choices. MITCH makes this wonderful meal and is such a nice friendly guy. In a world where customer service is lost he gives me hope. We have family that lives close so we will definitely be staying againChristyRooms: CleanFood & drinks: Excellent breakfast that is included”

“We hosted our annual fund raising gala on November 3 at the Renaissance and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. From the initial booking, to night of- everyone was fantastic to work with. Heather was our first point of contact and walked through the entire process with us. She exceeded any expectation to make our night incredible. She was incredibly response with any questions we had, and solved more than a few problems we threw her way! Joy helped with AV and was professional and kind- a true delight to work with. Our room captain, Smrita, and the rest of the staff the night of the event made things as seamless as possible, all while serving with a smile. Tina helped facilitate our setup and made sure we had access to everything we needed. I know I'm forgetting people, but all in all this entire staff helped us have a phenomenal night and raise a lot of money for a good cause! We will be booking again for next year’s event! (As long as this staff is still running it!)”

“We loved this hotel. It stood out for us in our cross-country road trip with our 2 dogs. Gracious and informative staff. Very clean. Grounds were well kept. Quiet, despite there being a good number of guests. The dogs were given small bags of dog treats (love that). Right off Hwy 44 with good restaurants close by.”

“Staying with my kids on emergency trip and the master bedroom has no airflow, there’s a fan that doesn’t work, only the main room cools down, fridge was dirty….and there’s a hateful person that made us wait at the glass for 45 minutes wearing a clown costume sitting at the front desk…and she was the rudest person I have ran into in my last 50 ihg stays…highly disappointedAnd response to your idiotic comment manager, it was your employee that was rude and hateful to me for no reason so shove this comment and her clown nose up your a$$.”

“Great hotel, rooms are clean and recently renovated. I’ve only taken an Uber to and from the airport, they have a shuttle but I was told that it’s only for flight crew. The breakfast buffet is decent, and there’s a good handful of nearby restaurants (max 5min walk) to choose from.Walkability: There’s a bunch of nearby restaurants, a Walgreens and Starbucks all within 5 mins walk from the hotel.”

“We were booking this hotel through price line when we changed our mind and told them we didn't want it. They charged us anyway and told us that if the hotel would cancel it then they would refund the money. An employee at the hotel refused to let me talk to the manager and told me they would not cancel the room. I said "We'll, I guess you guys can rent it out and get double paid." She told me that the hotel only gets a fee and price line gets most of the money. I researched and she was lying to me. You can't trust the long time employees at this hotel. I am not going to mention her name but she is a liar. They don't care one bit about their patrons. We lost $163.00unless Priceline comes through and helps.Noteworthy details: Don't ever stay here.”

“Room 314; the microwave didn't work.I was concerned about the lack of properly located electrical outlets in convenient places around the room.I don't use the charging ports, I use my own plug in charger. There's no outlets in-between the beds near the phone to plug in anything.Afterwards, I noticed some outlets partially hidden near the base of one of the lamps on the desk. Also, while I was in the bathroom, the house cleaning woman turns the doorknob and started to just walk into my room, without even knocking first. Luckily, I had the metal doorstop brace in place. I asked her "Wait, what are you DOING? You don't even KNOCK?!" She backed up and I shut the door. She didn't even apologize...I've stayed at a LOT of Holiday Inns, but never experienced anything like this before...”

“I would give 2 or 3 stars based on the condition of the hotel. Nothing was nasty or dirty, but many things were broken and needing repair. Our key cards stopped working within first 30 minutes so we went down and they made us new cards. Our fold out couch bed was completely destroyed when we got there so the courteous staff moved us to another room. The toilet was leaking around the base so your socks would get soaked from using the toilet. The microwave plug didn't work. The coffee pot was missing so we had to get one from downstairs. The heater didn't work, but i run a HVAC business and removed the faceplate of thermostat and they had the switch set to "gas" heat rather than "electric" so that was an easy fix. The sink stopper was broke so the sink had trouble draining. The cabinet drawers would just randomly open alot because of not being level. That's about it with the room(s). The elevator felt and sounded like it was going to break at anytime. The indoor pool was freezing, and that would have been ok since there is a hot tub. But the chlorine level was so high that your eyes and lungs hurt just from being in the pool room. So we got no use from that. On our last day (we stayed 3 nights) right before checking out our key cards broke again. The staff made us new cards for the last 30 minutes we were there. All in all the friendly staff made up for the hotel seeming like it was falling apart. The room was super cheap so that was nice. I feel like maybe they could charge an additional $15-$20 a room and still be competitive and be able to fix things that are broken.”
