“As an introvert who has lived here for 6 years:The Pros: it's pretty (& it's close to Hueston Woods), the rent is affordable, access to the U-4, it's (mostly) quiet, the work-out room is fantastic, and the staff is helpful. I don't get the general guff @ the managers in the other reviews: they've always been great in my experience.The Cons: The wifi (wifi calls and video sharing with friends will often buffer, and the wifi will blackout for about 24-36 hours every 2 months in my experience. They were very responsive with giving updates last blackout, but historically that hasn't been the case), I've had my next door neighbors partying into late hours and making it hard for me to sleep, groceries are a bit of a struggle without a car, and I wish there were more events that brought the community together that catered to my interests (grill outs and pool/pizza parties aren't my style: book clubs or board game nights or something would be more my ideal).I've always stuck with Hawks Wifi rather than getting my own router, and I think it's serviceable enough to work (though I do think a change in service provider is in order, perhaps making it work with streaming/gaming should be a focus). The bus is very reliable to getting to campus, but getting back is usually a 15-20 minute walk. I've never been that bothered by it though.On the whole, I don't plan on leaving unless circumstances takes me somewhere else. It's a nice place, and I don't see it reasonably being beat.”

“I enjoy living here it is nice and quiet. Management and the workers are easy to talk to and will help in anyway they can. Rules are enforced to make me feel safe that unwanted people are not permitted on the property. The manager is really nice and I enjoy speaking with her.”

“We had a nice experience working with this company during a cross-town move. As with all U-Haul rental offices, don't assume what you need (size of truck, truck with ramp, van, etc.) will be available- call and make a reservation in advance. At this particular office you will find a very nice rental agent who is very reasonable to deal with. She seems to enjoy her job and care about helping people-- it made the start of a long moving day pleasant and positive on two occasions. :) We will use this store again any time we need a rental.”

“I rented from OXRE for two years and never had a single issue with any of them. They were always quick to respond to emails/calls, sent maintenance quickly, and were invested in making our renting experience as pleasant as possible. Everyone treated us with respect and as adults (which is rare for Oxford rental companies). If I ever live in Oxford again, I will definitely rent from OXRE.”

“Overall, I have enjoyed living here. The community atmosphere is nice and there are usually fun activities the office hosts throughout the year! Also, the complex is a relatively quiet place that I feel safe to live in. The maintenance staff are always respectful and respond pretty quickly to requests. The community is clean aside from lingering trash that finds its way to the wooded area. Furthermore, engaging with members in the office is a pleasant experience. The main complaint I have is, as someone who lives right next to the basketball court, my roommates and I endure listening to loud music during late night basketball sessions. The residents are respectful and are just enjoying themselves and the amenities, so I don't consider it awful. It's just annoying when I want to sleep during the times the court is in use like that. Other than that, I think the Annex is a good place to make your home during college.”

“Oxford West isn’t a bad place to live At all . I did have some problems with the maintenance people coming to fix my base board heater for the longest time. It did eventually get fixed and they refunded for all the months the electric was expensive so that was nice ! Overall it’s quiet and nice place to live”
