“This USPS at 1111 E. 5th is actually open Saturday 9AM-2PM and they went above and beyond for me last Saturday. The two ladies in customer service took care of my general delivery parcels, they helped me forward my mail online (because USPS requires ID verification at the post office and the clerk to scan the barcode in the email they send for security/ID protection), and when I used my ID they noticed a minor clerical error in the address on my new Ohio license that I had forgotten to check at the BMV. Very efficient, professional, knowledgeable and kind USPS staff! The other customers in line were nice too even though it was busy. Great job, E. 5th Dayton USPS.”
“One of the most efficient locations in the area. Although very busy the staff always does a good job moving the line. Give everyone a break and have your package prepared before you get here!”
“A decent office overall. Unfortunately funding likely suffers due to the constant effort of this country to privatize every public service. That being said, improvements can definitely be made. This can range from more staffing so that the lunch hour doesn't have a line all the way to the door to keeping better track of packages. Despite this, my experience here has been mostly positive!”

It’s such a testament to how contagious happiness really is and how it can start with someone you might never expect to have such an impact. “I have been a customer of this branch for over 10 years. I have never had a bad experience. The line can get long sometimes but that is to be expected. I guess people feel compelled to leave negative feedback after a bad experience but I haven't had any nor have I witnessed any.”

“I love this post office! I come here multiple times a week every week. There are times I’ve been here everyday of the week to ship items I’ve sold. I never leave reviews but when I saw all the 1 star reviews for this location I had to leave one. The man who works here is always kind to me and my children. Nothing but friendly. I’ve never seen him be rude to anyone. If he’s not up front all you have to do is ring the bell and he comes right out.”
“5 stars for the manager who went out of his way to pick up a package from the truck which was my boyfriends really important medication that couldn’t get delivered correctly. Saved a trip to the hospital, thank you!”

I have some really important stuff going out and I’ve never had a problem getting my certified signature in the mail. I’ve always had great customer service and I’m almost a master at filling out and attaching all the proper forms thanks to the very happy guy in front, sorry I didn’t get his name, but he has some very good customer service skills and I appreciated all his help.
