“Big Lots is an interesting place to shop. Not a bad place to start if you need something specific, just to see if they have it, as the prices are usually a bargain. I can usually find a few organic staples after a little stroll through the food department and a household goods search usually leads to a few great items for my kitchen. The aisles aren't too difficult to maneuver for my husband's travel wheelchair, which is nice, because he loves perusing the aisles for things we might need as well. All in all, Big Lots is a great place to search for bargains.”

“When I can find what I want there, it's a great place, except the prices are really not that competitive. Their inventory feels a little random obviously because it's a closeout store but that kind of makes it really hard to shop for things that you want and again the prices can be a little bit not what I would consider closeout prices considering there is a Marc's store right next door to them that basically does close out stuff as well at lower prices, and there's a Dollar Tree in the same plaza with really low prices.”

“The owner (and his staff) are very responsive on their fb messenger! I've also had the owner help me load purchases into my vehicle! You can tell this is a guy who is very involved and cares about not only his business but also the customers experience! I have and will continue to recommend this store! Something about shopping here feels more like your dealing with family or friends opposed to corporate America, plus they do that hard part (assembling items) for you!”

“Not certain his name but he was a young tall dark haired guy working TODAY on July 11th at 6:37 pm at the Graham Road Cuyahoga Falls store. What a great employee, saw me struggling to find sauerkraut, left the cashier station to come help me without me saying a word. Great customer service skills make this guy a manager! We absolutely DO notice!”

“The price is still $1 for each item so far. They will raise the price by a quarter each item on Feb.6, 2022 for almost everything except cards and some candies. It's a small place and often gets crowded but with good selections of toys, cards, art and craft supplies, kitchen and cleaning products and etc. Their art and craft stuff are way cheaper than the Hobby & Lobby nextdoor. If you are a craft & art lover, don't gorget to shop there before heading to Hobby & Lobby nextdoor. You can check their new items on Fridays or Saturdays because their truck comes every Friday for delivery. However, they don't allow return or refund. After the price changes to $1.25, we probably will shop more at the dollar section at the nearby Target to get the small toys for the kids at $1 each where they also accept returns.”

“I love this store. So happy that it's gone back to Save-A-Lot and is no longer that value food market or whatever it was. This location has the best employees and I mean THE BEST. Every single one of them are kind and show up to do their job. They've worked hard to get the store back to what it used to be and I couldn't be happier. I just wish I was able to find an updated phone number on the internet somewhere. What's up with that?”

“I went to this store to return a private brand item that I had purchased at a different DG 20 miles away. The item had not been used and I had the receipt. I was told I would have to take the product to the store where I purchased the item. Considering that DG is not a franchise but is in fact a corporation, I called their corporate Customer Service line where they briefly researched the policy and then stated "Dollar General brand items must be returned to the store where purchased. However, private name brand items can be returned to any DG store in the US for full refund.'
This was one of two DG in my neighborhood that gave me the same runaround. Both stores had very friendly staff that wanted to help me but felt their hands were tied. Dollar General...Train your staff!!!”
“The nicest group of people work here and the gentleman who works the nights ( mostly) is the friendliest person, he makes conversation with everyone, he greets everyone and I enjoy speaking with him.”
“I like this store. Quirky, colorful, unpretentious and is very well stocked. Its nothing fancy, it looks very strip mall generic from the outside, nothing to really attract you in, but its a very good old-school type grocery store, (and also a type of general store with a great closeouts area) that seems to have noticably resisted inflating its prices in the way other stores have. I favor it easily over ACME (and Giant Eagle), though ACME seems to have a stronger hold on the area. The floor plan definitely is perplexing, baffling really, in some of the design decisions, and takes some getting use to. But it is orderly and clean, with good customer service and they pack an impressive amount of what you regularly need here in a smaller space.”
“We get our prescriptions here. They have a program that compares your insurance price with a discount card and will give you the discount when possible.
They have pretty good produce.
They have a good photo department for making photos off your pictures in your phone.
You can find a lot of things there Drug stores don't usually carry, like automotive, hardware, household items, a decent pet department.
Plus a dairy and frozen food section.”
“This store is like my 2nd Wal-Mart. ALWAYS find good deals and prices are equal or better than the dollar store.

“Save-A-Lot is a decent lower cost than average larger supermarkets. They have many low priced and save a lot branded items you can get basically all your friends and vegetables and snack foods alone with milk and soda and freezer foods, and also meat's but I prefer meat's at a higher quality store. Most basic necessities can be found here though”
