426 E Waterloo Rd, Akron“Always a great experience, great staff , friendly atmosphere. I get a lot of great deals , sometimes you have to dig to find what your looking for but for me that's part of the fun! I can fill my vehicle with groceries for sometimes less than 1/4 of what I would have paid retail!”
“Went to this store the other day to check it out. The place is clean, the shelves are well stocked and the staff was very helpful. The prices were great. I will definitely be going back.”
9AM - 9PM
1890 W Market St, Akron“Big Lots is an interesting place to shop. Not a bad place to start if you need something specific, just to see if they have it, as the prices are usually a bargain. I can usually find a few organic staples after a little stroll through the food department and a household goods search usually leads to a few great items for my kitchen. The aisles aren't too difficult to maneuver for my husband's travel wheelchair, which is nice, because he loves perusing the aisles for things we might need as well. All in all, Big Lots is a great place to search for bargains.”
“Save-A-Lot is a decent lower cost than average larger supermarkets. They have many low priced and save a lot branded items you can get basically all your friends and vegetables and snack foods alone with milk and soda and freezer foods, and also meat's but I prefer meat's at a higher quality store. Most basic necessities can be found here though”
8AM - 10PM
25 W Miller Ave, Akron“A lot more inventory than the one I typically go to so I'll def be doing more shopping here!! Going back today actually!! And the pricing is phenomenal as well!!”
“In the last few months this store has made so many improvements. The new Manager is very nice. You are greeted when you walked in. The cashier always has a warm smile. I overheard the new Manager chatting with a customer stating how she is working so hard to get the store together for the community.”
“I just recently came here to buy clothes to wear to work at Walmart where I work at in Montrose and I tell you I love the prices I love the quality of product if they haveAnd I love all the household stuff in electronics to”
“They were very helpful today loading my PayPal account with a bar codeThe very kind lady behind the counter made the, process painless and was extremely helpful and was one of the most pleasant people I have meant at Stores like Dollar General She was friendly and efficient and very personable All in all a good experience”
“Great Service, Informational and very Respectful to me and my people! Able to answer all of my questions and handled any concerns I had on the spot. Olori and Brandon running the show had me literally floating around the warehouse! Good people good times!”
“Bought a runner rug, area rug and a futon. The guy behind the counter was cool and friendly. The younger guy in the back only charged me $10 to deliver everything. Was on time, professional and polite. Will definitely be shopping there again and again.”
“Bargain store with amazingly low prices. Found high quality throws on discount the day before holiday. A young lady was delightful to help me. MacKenzie was a positive example of customer service. Thanks so much I'm grateful to her. I sowed blankets and added my own touch to them. Keep up the impeccable service it is appreciated..”
“It’s a nice store, in a decent area, i just wish they could solve the staffing issues. The ones they have are great, friendly and professional. But the store can’t stay open its hours.”
8AM - 9PM
901 Copley Rd, Akron“I went to this store to return a private brand item that I had purchased at a different DG 20 miles away. The item had not been used and I had the receipt. I was told I would have to take the product to the store where I purchased the item. Considering that DG is not a franchise but is in fact a corporation, I called their corporate Customer Service line where they briefly researched the policy and then stated "Dollar General brand items must be returned to the store where purchased. However, private name brand items can be returned to any DG store in the US for full refund.'This was one of two DG in my neighborhood that gave me the same runaround. Both stores had very friendly staff that wanted to help me but felt their hands were tied. Dollar General...Train your staff!!!”
“FYI: Cash only .Great selection of mater/fabric for such a low price you’ll have to buy it. Walking up and down the isles looking at oddities of items is great . I always end up buying something I didn’t come for. Owner is wonderful - it’s been a family business for at least 40 years.”
“I live very near here and all the workers are very nice and helpful but tonight I met Miss Denise and she was the sweetest!! We had a chat about our cats and she was just the best! Go see Miss Denise if you can!”
9AM - 11PM
1890 W Market St, Akron“I have always loved Gabe’s. It’s a great store that always has great finds. I went in the Fairlawn location moments before closing and the staff still gave excellent customer service. Although I had to rush, I wasn’t rushed by the staff. Even at the end of the day everyone was friendly and pleasant. Great service is hard to find these days. I’ll definitely return to Gabe’s and it remains one of my favorite places to shop.”

1750 S Main St, Akron“While the standard for orderliness and cleanliness in dollar stores has been extremely low, it was a delight to walk around the aisles to shop at Family Dollar on Main Street today! I couldn't find a thing out of place, the aisles weren't blocked with stock that needed to be put on shelves, all the prices were clearly marked, and the customer service I received was of the highest quality.I shopped there today, Saturday, Nov 11th at approximately 2:30 p.m. I hope whoever manages that store receives recognition as well as the employees who are working so hard there. You all deserve a big fat raise????”
8AM - 10PM
588 E Exchange St, Akron“Great location I'm trying to learn the setup! Awesome employees something wasn't ringing up right I offered to go take a picture of the sign. The lady said it's OK I'll fix the price!”
8 AM - 9 PM
1540 Canton Rd Ste 170, Akron“Many times, less advertised store brands can meet your expectations and thus save you money while having it's own distribution system sustain availability. You get that with Save A Lot. I start there for many primary food sources and budget accordingly with great satisfaction. These days, with inflation raising food prices, this may become a necessity for an increasing majority of shoppers. Fear not, you won't be disappointed here.”
8AM - 10PM
1465 Aster Ave, Akron“They bring with them a real sense of community with them... You can tell that they aren't just here to make a $... Sure that's like the main reason but they also care about us (GENUINELY) their customers... Ya know... Cuz they wouldn't have any cUStomers without US... Lol cheesy”
8AM - 11PM
530 E Tallmadge Ave, Akron“You can acquire grocery items, some name brand, others not, at a significantly reduced price. I purchased Nathan's Beef jumbo hot dogs and thin center cut pork chops at a really good price. Take your own bags and prepare to wait a bit longer in line. It's worth a visit regardless of your financial circumstances.”
“The times I have visited this store while open the staff were friendly, as well as the store was decently kept organized. There were alot of packages that weren't stocked yet, but overall the store seemed clean. I think maybe once they hire any needed staff alot of issues would be resolved.”
8AM - 10PM
855 Canton Rd, Akron“I want to say thank u to Miss Dupert as well as her co worker these 2 were calm kind and extended a extra hand in making me feel like it's gonna be ok I had an incident in there store (health related) and actually the first time ever it's happened to me in public but these two women were amazing they made me feel like it's ok when I'm so scared inside don't know if I'll take another breath I just want to say thank u so much I really do appreciate the two of u”
“Once you understand Dollar Tree, you can love Dollar Tree. The extra .25 they added to the prices has provided a terrifying boost to merchandise quality. Dollar Tree is Party City if you're not an idiot, and also you need a lined notebook for work. Oftentimes the merch here was once much more than $1.25 at one point in its existence at some other store, which is a solid reminder that the monetary value of items is arbitrary and none of this is real.Unlike Planet Fitness, Dollar (Twenty-Five) Tree is the true Judgement-Free Zone. I dare someone to look down on me whilst in there. I dare myself to do the same. In Dollar .25 Tree, we are all equals. There is no class system, no war. We can all afford something in there and we all smell that toxic odor wafting into our bloodstreams from the tremendous selection of holiday home decor. Let me put out some little Christmas trees and you try to tell me they're not from Target. You can't. Also, get out of my house, this visit is over. This one has a greeter at the door and I truly think she is one of the reasons Dollar Tree rises above other discount retailers. She reminds you that you're human during an errand where you might forget. At Dollar Tree you can find your 4th grade home room teacher and 6 women on an extended cigarette break. You can find accessibility to excess and you can say no to it.Don't buy the eyeshadow. Do buy the dish washing gloves.”
