“Enjoyed my stay. Great for Cedar Point. Clean room and room service. Room was a bit outdated but not in horrible shape. I would stay here again. Will say we were put in one of the few rooms that did not have an exterior door. The staircase and exterior doors were pretty noisy at night and in the AM. It can also be pretty difficult to turn out of the location onto the main road. However this would not discourage me from staying here again.”

“I stayed back in June 2024, on my annual theme park trip around the country, first impressions was eh as the hotel was very dirty on the exterior and needed severe power washing. The hotel was overall very clean and charming with a historical look to it. I had the 2 queen bed suite executive and it was nice, the balcony was super small and with it being a double suite it was still small so I could only imagine a normal room size. The hospitality was amazing for a theme park company hotel. I stayed for 8 nights and each night housekeeping came and cleaned the room and etc when I never asked, and when your paying this amount of money, you would assume for good hospitality at best, but it went beyond my expectations. I would gladly return.”
“I had difficulty checking in using the electronic kiosk but this did not matter because the manager at the front desk saw my despair and instantly took care of me. Every person on staff I had contact with during our stay was kind and professional. Extra helpful room cleaning staff when we had an inadvertent accident went the extra mile. Very relaxing and fun family time.”

“I recently stayed for an overnight trip and really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the decor was very nice. I did not get a chance to try the restaurant or bar, but heard it was okay from another guest. There are some cool shops in the area. I went during the off season, but would love to come back when it's nice out. I will say the ear plugs in the room was nice, because it did get loud through the night.”
“These suites are so clean and spacious! The beds are so comfortable the hardwood floors were so nice for our grandchildren to sit and play on! the patio just outside the rooms are so nice and the staff was top notch!! Will definitely be back!”

“Staff was very friendly but there was no one on site which wasn't a big deal. Room was spaciou perfect for our family. Beds were comfy. Lots of towels. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the room. There was old food in the fridge, finger prints (looked like food) on the bathroom door and on the wall in the hallway. Bathtub looked like it had been cleaned, but not well. The outside of the building was covered in dead bugs and cobwebs, I assume because it was the end of the season and they probably power wash once a year.”
“My second year here. Great location and very personable staff. Easily accessible and it has its own boat landing. It also has a cleaning station for fish. Conveniently close to Walmart and local stores and watering holes.”

“Ms. Shawn, at the front desk was amazing! She was very pleasant and professional. My family and I stayed here for two nights last week, the breakfast bar was very nice as well. Lastly, we enjoyed being able to swim outside while we were in the hot tub! Good experience overall.”
“It's okay for what it is, be prepared for 3 roommates you've never met who don't respect your sleep schedule. Overall opens your eyes and can lead to lifelong friends”
“Had a great experience. Got to motel after Cedar Point closed and had a sleeping grandson with me. The front desk guy Matt helped me carry my luggage to the room. He also made a trip to the vending machines for me so i wouldn't have to leave my sleeping grandson alone in the room. Later i go to take a bath to soak and relax. The plug wont plug? Again front desk clerk Matt came and fixed the lever so i could soak in a hot tub. Very friendly helpful guy?”
“We stayed here this past Saturday after cedar point, we were greeted by Michael, he was so kind and very professional! The room was nice and clean, the breakfast was great all in all we were very satisfied.....We will definitely stay here again if/when we are in the area?

“I stayed at the Commodore Resort during my trip to Put-in-Bay and had an amazing time! The location is perfect—right in the middle of all the action, with bars, restaurants, and the ferry all just a short walk away.
The pool area was definitely a highlight, with a great vibe and music throughout the day. It’s a fun place to relax or meet other people, especially in the summer. My room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet at night considering how lively the area is.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, always available to answer questions or offer local tips. I’d definitely stay here again if I come back to the island—perfect spot for a fun, laid-back getaway!”

“Very nice hotel, 200+ rooms.... Pools & hot tub by the pool.. Breakfast was also better than the usual free breakfast. The only issue for me is it's very long and if you have issues walking ask for a room closer to the front desk.”

“Had a wonderful fall visit! One last chance for a walk on “the most beautiful mile” and patio donuts! Even saw the Lakeside daisy had bloomed again!
Rooms: First floor rooms have new flooring.
Nearby activities: Really enjoyed Bergman orchards, Ciao Bella Italian Restaurant and drive on Catawba island.
Walkability: EVERYTHING is walkable in Lakeside!
Food and drinks: Ooh la la was open for breakfast & lunch. Patio had donuts & coffee”
