“I made a reservation for lodging on December 20, 2023 in Port Clinton on my way to Wisconsin for Christmas. I did not realize that it was across the street from Lake Erie. I was thrilled! Devin Soleah was so helpful about how to get to the grocery store and the public beach. Not everybody is so friendly! I appreciated her helpfulness so much. I also stayed in Port Clinton on my way home on December 29. Would recommend the Best Western.Rooms: Very clean and comfortable.Nearby activities: 3 blocks away from the public beach.”

“Not sure why this place gets some negative reviews; the hotel and rooms are clean, across the street from the beach, and has Mr Ed's attached to it, along with Dock's Beach House across the street. The rates for the rooms are very affordable too. Can't beat it. I think some people just like to complain....”

“Rooms: Absolutely great value. Spacious, clean and comfortable if not a bit dated.Noteworthy details: There was initially an issue with my reservations just days before my trip but when I arrive the outstanding lady at the desk was able to straighten everything out and get me in exactly the room I'd wanted... Give Amy a raise.”
“I don't know what's better the service or the food. Both were top-notch as soon as we walked in it was self-seating. We sat down and within just a couple minutes our waitress came over and greeted Us and got our drink order. She brought chips and salsa and both were terrific. After that I ordered the taco salad my wife ordered some straight tacos and my niece ordered and assorted tamales tacos and we tried to Spanish rice. Everything was very very flavorful and fresh. I would go back here any day in the touch on service again the waitress checked on us very very frequently was very courteous and kind. I would definitely go back for the food and the service”
