“*FINAL UPDATE: After meeting with Josh in person and explaining the situation he made it right and sent me better materials at no cost without request. Now our farm can get back up and running. Like I said. Amazing people but it was off this one time. Mistakes happen. They were nice and professional about the issue and delivered the following day. ??

*UPDATE: All my new garden beds are a complete loss. Every bed heated up to crazy temperatures and killed the plants. I will never buy these products again. If you’re going to call it compost or soil make sure it’s actually one of those two things. This is not a finished product. Finish aging before you sell it. Thousands of my hard earned dollars… I’ll never see again. Perfect.*

I’ve been using these guys for years. While the people are amazing the products I received this year are… something else. When I buy materials I expect them to be ready to use. Not be responsible for aging and finishing the processing.

I ordered 6yds of premium blend top soil and it’s mostly ground up clay and bits of wood chip. It also still smells like manure. (Signs of a immature blend)

Then the 6yds of compost I received was still LOADED with shredded wood mulch. It also still has a lot of manure odor. Proper compost smells like a forest floor and is more soil than woody materials. This needed another year of sitting or 1-2 months of turning.

It is STILL composting. Both blends were immature and not ready for use. I’ll have to pray that my plants survive this mess because it is still trying to heat up after building our new produce beds. I do not have the time or funds to buy another 12yds from somewhere else.

It’s become pretty clear to me that Price Farms now turns over their materials fast so they can keep up with demand rather than waiting to make proper materials.

Like I said, amazing people but now with a mediocre product. Price Farms, next time, when you need more time to process your materials… you tell people sorry and you wait until it’s ready. I sadly will be buying elsewhere from now on.”

“Went there Sunday morning with my wife. We had 2 different plants we were looking to plant. Turns out they had both. We bought 6 burning bushes and 4 blue rug juniper plants. All of them were very nice . They come with a 1 year warranty guarantee which is a good deal. It was alot of work for this 65 year old man to get them planted. Took me 2 days but they look good.”
