“I live in Erie, PA. I would ABSOLUTELY highly recommend that anyone from Erie (or surrounding areas) check out the Ron Marhofer dealership as opposed to the Erie Interstate Nissan location- completely different experience.Marhofer building was under construction while I was there, so the parking lot and whatnot was a little crunched on space, but they took great care of me. Such an inviting little guest amenity area (awesome selection of drinks in the cooler and LOVED the popcorn machine). They were busy (even for a snow storm Friday night!) and I totally understand why.The whole experience was very low pressure and I really appreciated that. Very 'family like' team which contributed to the overall positive experience.I need to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for my sales guy, Colin B. He was diligent in setting up an appointment for me and flexible with my need to shift the appointment with the weather. He was so nice in making sure the vehicles I was interested in were pulled up to the front for me (vs having me walk through the inclement weather as I had experienced at multiple other dealerships; winter in PA/OH is no joke!). He was extremely patient (and I can't not stress the word extremely enough). He took the time to answer any little question I had, never made me feel 'stupid for asking', was so friendly the entire time, and was so detailed in all of his explanations. I never once got the impression he was annoyed or that I was taking up too much of his time. I never once felt rushed. Despite it being a Friday night and horrible weather, Colin stayed late (I'm talking a few hours past close) to assist me and make sure I was completely happy with my purchase and saw it through the finish (finance closing). He was SO helpful in helping me transfer my belongings to my new vehicle (out in the freezing rain/snow storm and never a hint of being unhappy to be out there helping me).I also want to leave a positive note for the finance manager that assisted me as well. He went at just the right pace (not too fast and making me feel like he was trying to talk me into something, while not going so slow that I was like 'when am I ever going to get out of this place'). He also stayed late to help me through the process and I appreciated that. He also was very patient and kind in answering my million questions that I had for him as well.I also really appreciated how easy the dealership made it for transferring plates/registration to PA for me and handling the taxes (I've heard that can be an absolute nightmare buying in OH, or out of state, when you live in PA). Taking that stress off of me really helped my buying experience. I was also very satisfied with the cost and coverages with the maintenance plans offered to me.Overall, I can't recommend this dealership enough. Colin was so great and I'm so happy I made the long trip out there- it was 100% worth it.”

“I had an accident on the ice and called around to SEVERAL shops. Shaw was willing to get me in weeks before anyone else was and despite having $3.5K worth of damage to my car a couple days before Christmas, I still got my car back within just a few weeks! They work with all insurances and my car came back looking even better than it did before the accident. They took the liberty of buffing out some unrelated scratches and washing my car very thoroughly on the outside. They also even cleaned up the inside a bit! “I was driving and a light came on my dashboard. being a Sunday I was not sure who would be open or where to go. I saw Advanced Auto and went in. The kindest man - Brent - helped me at the counter then said he would get the auto checker machine to see if it showed anything. He searched my vehicle book to find the light on - after saying the engine showed no warnings. He explained the orange wrench was an oil warning. Told me the place ge recommends and even how to find a couoon. I offered him a 'tip' but he smiled and refused telling me I could drive without worry. Such a worker to have work for you - thank you!”

“Took my truck there to have them install my aftermarket cat back exhaust. I was in and out in about an hour, and that was including the car talk conversation me and the guys had. They are old school, I am old school. Very knowledgeable guys. They did a great job and exhaust fit better than we thought. They are very reasonable with their prices, plus they saved me from having to lay on the ground in the cold like I usually do. Well worth the money for me and my old man back lol.”

“Stopped in to get new window blades. Originally bought the incorrect one for my rear window. Return was easy and the clerk let me know that mine was difficult to replace. I told him I had been trying to find the correct fit for sometime and this was my 4th try. Recommended factory replacement and what was on mine was different. (We think the original owner swapped it out) He gladly helped get the new one on which proved to be trickier than a normal pop on j hook. I was in and out in 10 min!”

I took my 2021 A4 in and one service specialist took my car in and really didn’t give me updates and if he did, they were very vague and really didn’t answer any of my questions. Then it was handed over to Bruce and Bruce was on top of letting me know what was going on, if things changed and when my car would be done, he was very upfront very professional and I wouldn’t want anybody else handling my car other than Bruce, keep this guy around!”

“Our family has purchased 3 Nissans from Marhofer Nissan. It is a bit of a hike for us to get there, but we feel it is well worth it. We are treated well. We don't feel the pressure we feel at other dealerships (I hate having to ask repeatedly for my car keys back like I do at some other dealers).
