I had an absolutely terrible experience at the Gahana office today. I am not going to let this matter go unresolved. I will be contacting the Attorney General’s office to file a formal complaint. The behavior of the staff at this office is completely unacceptable and reflects a serious failure in customer service. I strongly believe that disciplinary action should be taken, and the operations of this post office need to be investigated thoroughly. No customer should be treated this way.

Was here litter over two weeks ago to get my key for my mailbox. When I was the first time I was talking to on worker because she asked could help anyone else in line while there server was done. Sherry come out of no where yelling at be to not talk across the line. Second time I came to pick up my keys because it hadn’t arrived within timeline they given me. And I did not receive a phone call. I asked her to check she told me it’s not there and when I wasn’t leaving so she checked it was there. But they had my address wrong on their sheet and when I told her it was the correct on the keys she yelled at me saying she can read. If she can’t talk to people professionally then she shouldn’t be working in the front. All the workers there are rude and disrespectful but sherry is the worst. I have witnessed her being rude to other customers as well. If there was an option to give 0 stars I would.

Good service only when it’s not busy… Outside of that, HORRIBLE wait times! Usually they only have 1 person working even during the busiest days & times. And several times there has been NO ONE at the desk with a note/sign that says “in the bathroom” with a line out the door, and we’ve waited 20-30 mins while the worker was “in the bathroom”. Many times the worker(s) have a negative attitude, likely because they don’t staff this location properly. USPS, get it together- respectfully.

The post office is not open the hours that are stated on the door, and the lobby is no longer open either. Who is running this place? Please hire individuals who are professional and speak to customers respectfully. Employees with bad attitudes should be ousted. They are detrimental to the post office. I have witnessed too much unprofessionalism and curtness at this post office.

Garbage. Absolute garbage. Consistently lose mail, aren't even open during business hours, people can't even get to their PO Boxes. I have completely stopped even trying to use this branch. I would rather drive ten minutes to new Albany than two blocks away to deal with this circus.

Sherry the older lady who works here is unprofessional and rude totally awful and unpleasant attitude as I walked in she kept eating on line chewing while I’m trying to ask about stamps. Awful location and face of USPS.

Sherry the receptionist that was there was eating on the line while I was waiting on the line looking for my package she kept eating and frustrated me cuz I was late for my appointment to doctors and she was annoyed I even came there such unprofessional women disgusting environment.

My package was Priority mail I missed the package at the mailing address and it was delivered at this location I came here on address that was left on the recipey left on my door came here for repeated 4 times to check on my package gave them my address and article number. Apparently Sherry the supervisor THOUGHT it was a package and not envelope and it was in the back the whole time and after 10 days they send my diploma mail back. Such carelessness is unacceptable I cried walking out how nasty she reacted Cz they knew it was their fault they started screaming at me both employed yelled and screamed at me when I just wanted to know where the package was now. It’s cost me 25$ for the package to get it now that they have returned it it will charge me another 25$ to request the package back all because they were careless to carefully look for my package. They don’t realize how important something can be for someone yet they act nasty, disgusted women Sherry for a supervisor she is incompetent, slow, careless and rude.I would never use USPS ever again cause they have no number to call location you have to drive up here every time you need to check a mail and before they send your package back there is no email no phone call they give u when u come to location everyday to see if it’s here like an idiot. They treat you like you’re stupid and keep giving you number to call that send you back here. Awfully disgusted with this USPS service and yes I’m crying about it cause it’s a College Diploma that I can’t get back with the insurance either.

The tall young lady in glasses and dipoles is super sweet and helpful. The lady there helping out was also very helpful. They need help there with logistics and communication it seems perhaps it's a back office issue but both these ladies were cheerful and smiling even though people stuff in the long line were annoyed and rightfully so they kept their service hate on. I did have one issue last week I'll take that up w management. No employee should call u to the counter while they are taking a personal call on their personal phone she should have stepped away. Very disrespectful. It was not the two ladies I mentioned

It's the Post Office. Nothing spectacular about it. They seem too busy in the back to help the customers in the lobby.

Terrible customer service-they got super upset because I asked what service would get a letter to its destination the quickest-to the point of stomping their feet and loud moaning. It would have been funny if they were not boarder line combative.
Would not suggest this location. Old. Outdated. The workers hate their lives. 🤷🏻♀️

Terrible. I inquired about my mailbox key 4/5 times within 2 months. Each time they inform me that I'll receive a phone when it's ready and they offeres me a number to call in the meantime. 4 months later I still don't have my mailbox key and never received a phone call. I called the number they gave me 50 to 75 different times and no one ever answered once. This post office is a complete joke!

I had an appointment at 3:15pm for passport photos for my daughter. Sherry, The lady who does the passports seen my husband and me in line and stated rudley if you are here for a passport appointment they have been canceled. She said “I called everyone to cancel”. Mind you there was a person ahead of us. Once it was our turn she went to the back and never came back out. Poor attitude. The other co-worker was very nice with us and told us she went to lunch. Sherry is a very poor communicator and lacks customer service skills. Very disappointed.

This is easily the worst post office I’ve been to. Constantly opens late, horrible service, lazy employees, and a parking lot so cramped and awful that it truly belongs here
