Through home depot . Worst experience in quality and installation followed by leaking and rotten base. Call them and yelled at to go to website and wait couple weeks to fix in freezing winter. I recommend you avoid this company

We purchased 13 Simonton windows in the first week of April. We live in San Diego, CA. After 12 weeks of waiting, we received them. Once we installed 3 of them, we immediately reported this faulty material to the company. We reported to them that both Installed and uninstalled windows are extremely stiff and they don’t glide at all. After numerous emails about the stiffness of the windows and how much we are worried about the ETAs, their first reaction was to blame it on installation. Then they told me that the manufacturer is aware of the problem and that their technician can fix it based on the manufacturer’s instructions. Their technician came to our place after 8 weeks. He reported to them that our windows are too heavy and too stiff. They said he couldn’t make them work based on what the manufacturer told him. He can fix it in other ways. It has been 2 weeks since he was here. We are still waiting for them to run a quality test BUT they don’t have the equipment for it and their service department needs to purchase it! It has been 10 weeks of nothing. We are living in a time that if we want to place an order for any other windows will take more than 10 weeks. Our project is on the air. DO NOT PURCHASE SIMONTON WINDOWS. THEY ARE NOT OPERATING AND THE COMPANY DOESN’T CARE AT ALL. (I can show our correspondents with this company to any party that needs to see them)

SMy wife and I bought our house in 2015, knowing that we'd need to replace about a dozen of the Simonton insulated window sashes because of clouding (broken seals). Since they weren't severely clouded, we could live with them until we got around to replacing them. Then one day earlier this year, when we began to look into replacing them, I was pleased and surprised to discover that Simonton windows come with a lifetime warranty ---a warranty that extends to the next owner of the house. All these windows were installed in the mid-1990s to the early 2000s. I messaged the company via its website, and a rep, Michelle, got back to me within a couple of days. She asked me to email pictures of the barcodes on each window, which I did. Sure enough, she confirmed our sashes would be replaced entirely free of charge. This was in March 2021, and Michelle did caution it would take a while for us to get the windows, as everything was backed up because of the COVID pandemic. She couldn't tell us exactly when, but that was ok with us, after living with cloudy windows for 5 years anyway. I checked in periodically to see where things stood, and Michelle was finally able to tell me last week the windows had been shipped. They arrived a few days ago and we installed them this afternoon. Simonton is a rare breed these days---a company that makes a high-quality product and stands behind it with a great warranty.

We have replaced the entire house with Simonton window. After some years, almost 1/3 of the windows showed mold inside so we called them to replace them. We filed the claims in Sept 2020 and the work started in January 2021. Simonton contracted with UTS Warranty.com. After many waits and followed up calls, we are finally downed to 2 windows. The contractor finished one of the last 2 windows and said he would come back the next day, but no show. After a few follow up text messages, he agreed to come but called to cancel the appointment the last minute. It took UTS more than 6 months to finish our job site and it still is not finished. Many text messages/phone calls and promises were made. I think it is time for Simonton to re-consider if UTS is the right labor provider.

I am about to purchase Simonton replacement windows for my home. I had some general customer service questions so I dialed the Simonton customer service phone number. The first time I called Simonton it took over 54 minutes before a customer service representative answered my call. Normally however, I can always find something to do while waiting in on-hold limbo land. The second time I called Simonton for customer service questions I found it a bit more difficult to fully occupy my time during the 3 hours and 31 minutes on hold. Every minute an computer generated voice bot would thank me for holding and inform me that all agents were busy helping other callers. I have a difficult time believing Simonton's automated message. I'm convinced there is only one Simonton agent assisting numerous other callers. If this is the type of dismal, unacceptable customer care I receive as a potential Simonton customer, what can I expect after spending several thousand dollars on new windows? I lay the blame for Simonton's stunningly inadequate phone support directly at the C-Suite. I was hoping some of the Simonton elite would get my message when I submitted a review to appear on Simonton's website but but my review was rejected. According to the despotic sensors at Simonton, my review did not pertain to a Simonton product. I assert that customer service before and after the sale is as much a part of Simonton's product experience as any of Simonton's windows are. Of course, any wise consumer knows to be skeptical of the reviews that appear on a manufacturer's own website. Most of the permitted reviews are cherry -picked for their overwhelmingly favorable praise of a product or service. You may be wondering if a Simonton customer service agent ever answered my call. No, but I hope the overwhelmed, lone agent assisted the frustrated customers who preceded me. If not, those residing in the ivory tower at Simonton can take stock in the old adage pertaining to business: "If you don't take care of the customer someone else will."

when a fixed window (no movement and no opening) fails after 13 years that is pretty bad. Worse is when the company says they will not honor the warranty because I am not the original homeowner. So warranty is used to sell the product but they cannot say they really stand behind it if a new homeowner has no rights to it. Cars do not lose initial warranty when sold and they take a lot more wear. I was about to order new windows for my main home and that cheapness made me take them off my list of potential mfrs.

Simonton shipped windows with blocks or sliders that cannot be removed. The double sliding windows are also scratched. No instructions to remove blocks. We have lost days of labor and Simonton has not returned our multiple attempts to contact them. Horrible company. Do not do business with them. They can come pick up their mess.

Buyer beware! This is just a review for the customer service, if you have an issue or need to ask them a question about your windows. You will not get through to that 1800#, absolutely No corporate telephone support!! (30-45 minute wait before I had to hang up, same thing no matter when you call) You would think all the money they are making they would pay attention to customer service. Customer Service is #1

I went through Home Depot and had window series 6100 and 6500 installed throughout my residential home. When I purchased my windows I was informed that double panel windows will cut out the noise level which is the only reason I purchased the windows. I can hear every noise including birds, cars, lawn movers, people talking outside and etc. If I could give the windows a rating of 0 I would.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE.SIMPLY ASKED FOR employee id and/or name at beginning of call so I can track and take notes of who I speak to and was hung up on -- now 30 min later I am on my fifth attempt o call 1 844-332-8288.The same woman continues to answer and hang up as soon as I ask for an employee ID.The first time, I called I asked to be transferred to a supervisor when she indicated she couldn't help -- LORI HENDERSHOT IS THE NAME OF THE SUPERVISOR - I left a voicemail and was disconnected after that. Upon leaving the voicemail, I called the same number back and thus began what is now my fifth call back attempt where I have been hung up on each time. I now have my husband on the line to witness this despicable customer service.WHY ANYONE WOULD DEAL WITH PLYGEM OR SIMONTON INSTEAD OF ANDERSON I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND. I have never experienced such terrible customer service even from the worst budget airlines.SIMONE AND LORI HENDERSHOT SHOULD BE ASHAMED THAT THIS EMPLOYEE IS ON THEIR PAYROLL

They missed a shipment and did not contact anyone to let them know. Contractors are awaiting the confirmed delivery and no windows are arriving. would not of been a problem if someone in customer service would have called. Would not recommend.

I hired a contractor in the spring of '04 to install Simonton Windows on the entire top floor of a house I just bought and have been very satisfied with them. In April of '20 I sent Simonton a photo of one window that had begun to show a kind of spotting in between the panes as I presume some material inside had deteriorated. After I provided proof of purchase and ownership and submitting a claim, Simonton shipped a replacement window at no cost and I swapped it out with the old window. I commend Simonton for standing by their product even after 16 years.

I bought Simonton Windows in 1995 installed by the dealer Window Works. I am thrilled with the windows, the warranty and how Simonton stands behind their products. Yesterday Simonton replaced the glass in my 24 year old sliding glass door that had lost it's seal, and the track which had aged and wasn't working efficiently. I have a bent screendoor and they are replacing it also. Ron Jordan, an excellent, experienced, friendly installer came out initially to see the job and returned in a timely manner to complete the job with another clearly qualified installer. They were a pleasure to be working in my home. the whole experience has made me real glad I have Simonton Windows.
