There is rarely anyone in the lobby and I always go directly into the exam room upon arrival. Read her profile on their website and you'll see that she's an accomplished and amazing person.”

Especially since they don't do payment plans anymore. I do get of course people probably screwed them out of money. But no plans isn't fair to us who have always paid them back.”

Was patient and took detailed notes on pet’s problems. Staff kindly carried the cage to and from my car, knowing it would be a problem for me. Will not hesitate to return with Mr. Whiskers! “This summer has tested both of our dogs. Dr. Melissa Smith and her amazing staff have been so helpful.
Our younger dog Freya seemed to live there with her seasonal allergies and skin issues. We tried a couple different options until we found 1 that FINALLY works for her allergies so she doesn't have constant red, swollen skin anymore. Freya also has so much anxiey and is scared of people but us. She learned to love the tech that helped the Dr due to her calm and friendly personality. Freya actually seems to walk in without being scared anymore.
Sadie our older dog had her surgery today for teeth extraction, (don't give them hard chew toys ?) teeth cleaning, and mass removal on eyelid. I loved how they called me before proceeding after they found something extra. I appreciated the Dr's thorough explanation of what they found and what it could mean if we went forward or didn't. She made me feel very confident in her work. Someone stays with your animal the whole time during recovery. It warmed my heart to hear the tech say Sadie kept putting her paw on her after surgery, which tells me she was comfortable with the person taking care of her. They had nothing but good words to say about my sweet girl. Dental xrays were also shown to me and where they did the extractions. They go over in detail all the meds and how to use them. I was even shown in office how to apply the medicine to her eye by the tech who supplied the 1st dose to Sadie.
Sadie is doing so well at home. Day 1 of bringing her back she's already wanting to eat her boiled chicken even with extractions with drinking water. I do love the medicine alternatives they gave me after realizing she couldn't have certain 1s.
They quoted me a specific amount and I was shocked it was slightly less when I went to pay. Much appreciated. Prices are not too bad either. The Saturday appointments are always appreciated too.

“I came back to Big Creek after getting a new stray kitty I haven't been to them in awhile because this was the first pet I've had since back then The girls were wonderful on the phone and got me in the next day Dr Hirch was very kind, warm, and intelligent.His advice was to treat, then "wait and see", which I think is a great idea My kitty was getting an exam, ear cleaned, nails trimmed, and x-ray, anti-biotic and Prednisone. I don't consider a $600 Bill unreasonable whatso ever.! People seem to forget these are DOCTORS of our pets. Do u complain when a doctor of your own charges $500 and just talks to you? I have a dentist who charges $350 dollars just to do a small filling --Do u go to the grocery store, pick out a steak, and ask the cashier if u can have it for a dollar? Why do you expect these vets to take less? This is their livelihood They also have staff to pay, insurance, supplies, meds, their building and taxes! Then their own personal needs. Sorry but don't expect these professionals to take any less for the care they are providing for our pets--”
“My daughter takes her furbaby there. The entire team are very warm, caring, and loving towards not only the animals but the “parents” too. It’s a wonderful atmosphere. The entrance or sitting area is bright and clean. They have two chairs and a long bench to sit on. It’s clean and doesn’t smell. The examination rooms are very roomy as well as clean. The vet is amazing as well. Dr. Olson is very caring and you can tell, she loves what she does. I highly recommend Mayfield Pet Hospital.”
“Dr Carlson, Dr Johnston, and Carrie are amazing! I have been going here for 5 years. They were very kind when I lost my rescue Sandie a few years ago and take great care of my Shiba pack and two rescue cats. My Shibas especially love seeing Carrie for their groom monthly. All the vets are great. My only criticism is currently getting through on the phone, call backs, and calls information getting relayed to the vets have not been accurate or not given at all. I know this has a lot to do with their new system and am hopeful it will get better.”
“I typically don’t leave reviews, nor do I find that patient care is outstanding anymore but Village Vet is exceptional. They took such great care of my babies, checked in on us after an awful diagnosis and are always quick to respond. I won’t ever change vets after taking my babies here”

“I came here by my friend's recommendation after another vet in the area misdiagnosed my dog and gave me reckless advice. My experience here was night and day. Dr. Clemens is so wonderful, knowledgable, thorough, and trustworthy. He took the time to walk me through the blood work the previous vet had done and advise me there are no issues with my dog (thank God!) but did educate me on things to look out for to be proactive. He is mindful of how expensive some of these treatments are and doesn't try to upsell you on everything like a lot of vets do. The entire staff is also very friendly and accommodating and the building itself is clean and spacious. Highly recommend this vet!”
“I was in need of switching vets and with my kitty’s complicated medical issues she can’t be seen by any vet. My initial call to this vet to see if they could even help her the staff was amazing. I get her records over to them and they reviewed them with 2 Dr.s and called me to discuss my options. The compassion they showed me in every call I made to them was awesome. Then walking through the door the amount of thought that went into their set up was noticed right off the bat. They have a drive up window for early morning procedure/ surgery drop offs. The Dr. calls to give you their findings and follows up. I would recommend the veterinarian practice to everyone! Amazing staff! Thank you!”
